Armagh has a third more clubs than Monaghan but probably 50% more pick. We can learn from our neighbours who punch above their weight in many ways.

Any results from today’s games ?
Nab 1-14 v 0-15 Sarsfields
Clans 1-14 v 0-14 Grange
Ogs 1-11 v 1-15 Cruppen
Cullyhanna 1-10 v Bridge 0-15

Things looking ominous for Pearse Óg already. Even if they get men back it’s hard to see them recover and even if they do it’s just papering over the cracks.

Nab 3-12 silverbridge 1-11 brilliant performance from a nab side that have a great mix of youth and experience. Very impressed with them today.

County men should have been available to clubs in to and including games played yesterday. 2 weeks was more than enough time to focus solely on the county. They could have trained with the county and played meaningful games with the clubs. If kerry players can line out for their clubs then why is the same not true in Armagh

Totally agree. Players are being held to ransom by the county management, its is a complete disgrace:mad:.

Some players got a telling off for stripping out in club gear to warm up with there clubmates on match days:confused:.

I’m not McGeeney out but county players not playing for clubs has been a huge issue since he came in and is a disgrace to be perfectly honest.

Do you understand what the split season actually means?

Cause its nothing to do with split season it's Armagh's management's decision to stop players playing for their clubs
But it is everything to do with the split season.
The inter county championship is ongoing and that's where players will be
There could have been a preliminary round last weekend so teams would have been mindful of that. The training inter county players do is different to club.
This is what was voted for and you can see the very issues it was meant to do away with raising their heads
It's not going to change and personally I do think county players should be with their county until their competition is over
