While the forum is brand new, we are asking our members to help spread the word via facebook, twitter and other avenues to ensure all the Orchard Fans out there know about the site.

Welcome, pull up a seat and enjoy.

I just wanted to add my congratulations & thanks for setting up the new site. I like many others was a member of the official fans forum & was disappointed to see it it close especially as we received no warning or explanation!!

It is nice to see a few names on here which I recognise from the old forum with hopefully more to follow both old & new.

Good luck with everything on here, I hope it is a very successful venture :)

Thank you and you're very welcome.

We hope you can enjoy it and participate actively. It has been created for members with few restrictions except common sense, which we admit isn't very common, but it'll be down to members to hold other members to account

Well blow me over with a feather. I went to sleep for a minute and then couldn't log into the forum. Thought I'd posted something offensive then noticed we'd been locked out or there was a lock in and I wasn't invited.

Then I see on Facebook that ya'll went and moved house without telling me! In the name of jaysus I thought I was in the know. Looks like my friends aren't as good as yours. No craic from me then.

Suppose I may add my thanks for keeping it going.

Thank you and you're very welcome. It's a fresh start in all honesty and we hope to keep it relaxed and relevant for all members.

The only thing banned is vending talk, unless of course it's from a sponsor/advertiser.

PLEASE PM COMMENT BY 6PM ON SUNDAY 22ND OCTOBER 2017...........................

Can we once again ask members, especially those that have joined us recently to spread the word among their family, friends and acquaintances that support Armagh and all things surrounding Gaelic sports in the county to join us in the new place to have a voice and make your opinion known.

It's pretty obvious we would like as many as possible to join us here, but we'd also love you all and them to follow us on Facebook. Find us at https://www.facebook.com/orchardfans/ . It'd be brilliant if we could become the "go to" facility for all the info.

Also we note with interest that a particular club member in North Armagh have made derogatory comments that we had a section/thread for other sports. betting and Premier league soccer. That same member works in the club bar where on any given Saturday or Sunday, horse racing and premiership games are predominantly shown on the club tvs. If anyone thinks we shouldn't have this as part of our forum[or conversely definitely should] please PM me with subject: Other sports and either a yes or no comment please. At the time of posting we have 87 members and will be guided by the majority on this.

Anyone that wants to have their say on how we run things and what content should be included or allowed, can have their first chance, but please do it before tomorrow at 6pm. So far 27 votes cast and 88 members. The majority will rule on this one regardless of the number of votes cast - just to keep it democratic.

Come on everyone don't spoil it for those of us who enjoy other sports in addition to gaelic football, hurling, camogie, ladies gaelic football & handball, like any other topic on here if it's not your thing just ignore it, simple.

On a much more serious note I am going for 3 titles in a row with my score predictions, please don't deny my chance of the treble :( especially now that @Buckfast has challenged me & @PatMustard is having a dip in form :D

VOTE NOW CLOSED!!!!

PLEASE PM COMMENT BY 6PM ON SUNDAY 22ND OCTOBER 2017...........................

So we had 33 votes cast.

One doesn't mind, but thinks it should be open to everything, not just other sports, so we're not really sure what that means and assume we'll now get another message.

One is against other sports being discussed or promoted on a Gaelic sports forum.

Thirty-one are in favour of other sports being discussed on their own threads.

Therefore the forum remains open to other sports. We're delighted that you used your voice to decide on what the forum should have for you. Thank you

So that person wasn't the bull. Or was it? :D
The one person has went as far as asking to have their account closed. It takes about 36months to close an account. What a shame they will continue to receive email notifications during that time as they have a business email rather than a hotmail etc.

Even though soccer isn't my thing, I love to see the discussions on it and other sports. A shame someone thinks a public forum shouldn't reflect peoples opinions.
