Stop talking - deliver!
No more excuses accepted- need a run in Ulster this year.

Do we really though? I am no doubt in the minority but unless you get to the Ulster Final & win it, does it really matter if you out in the 1st round or next round? Were Fermanagh really any better off than we were last Season when we both exited the All Ireland at exactly the same stage, but with them getting a tanking from Kildare, apart from their fans getting a day out in the sun in Clones? I commented when leaving Brewster Park that they wouldn't win any silverware & I was right. At least when we played for the Division 3 trophy we won it. Plus we still got to experience Ulster final day as our U21s played Derry the same day, much to the annoyance of them uns who wanted us kicked out of the competition. They make it so easy to dislike them.

If you're really talking about us competing for an Ulster title, yes I would love to see us back winning provincial silverware but if you simply mean a run of matches personally I'd be just as happy with a run in the Qualifiers & reaching the Super 8s.

My nerves have really kicked in..work with a lovely Down girl but I couldn't go back to work if we lose..

If we lose, just go in and pretend you’ve lost your voice. Throw your hands in the air when she starts the slagging. You’ll only have to listen to a couple of sentences before she gives up and leaves you alone.

My thinking is, there’s only two trophies we can go for. Ulster and Sam.

We won’t be winning Sam this year. So, ultimately 1 match or 4 in the qualifiers, while it brings days out, camaraderie, memories, we want to be winning trophies.

Going through the back door is just prolonging the inevitable, so let’s go for Ulster. Down aren’t great and Monaghan (assuming they beat Cavan) can be got at. Ulster final day, who knows.

A run in Ulster would make it easier to make the super 8s tho

This is pretty much in agreement to my post, if we remain in Ulster we want to be challenging for the title, not just hoping we get a "run in Ulster".

I have to admit though @PatMustard I've had some brilliant days out in the Qualifiers, the most recent which comes to mind is the comeback against Clare. The tension, the noise, the drama, the colour & the support could have rivalled some of the matches I attended during the era of our "great" team. How I long for this again :)

Yeah we have had some great days out, but Ulster should be our focus this year.

Fair play to Rory, he is a good speaker as a teacher. Time to do the talking on the pitch though. Armagh have the capability to blow Down out of the water on Sunday, they need to bring a high tempo to the game from the start and run at them. Don't let off until the ref blows the full time whistle. How many times have we seen Armagh start brilliantly in games and then die off and let the opposition back in.

That'll put the wind up them.

Trying to buy some tickets online. Looks like the stand is sold out. Does anyone know what the name of the terrace across from the stand is called?

The terrace name doesn't matter. Any terrace ticket will get you into any terrace.

PS, I've analysed Jamie Clarke's scoring since 2010 in today's Gaelic Life and have produced a big feature with interviews and analysis. Worth a read for anyone who may be on here wanting to know what's in it. ;)
