Was that the last Armagh game played at davitt park?
That’s because 11 years isn’t as long as 17Ah, so I’m not going mad then.
Yes, it was a shame we never got to see him again. It must have been a horrible leg break.
And yes, many’s a player from 1983-98 got a mention from Mr Burns. Nice touch to remember the men who gave their all, and just didn’t get to climb those steps to lift the Anglo-Celt trophy.
Strange thing is, 17 years then seemed like three lifetimes. At the minute it’s 11 years, and while it’s long enough, it still doesn’t feel as long as that famine.

Time for our supporters to get voting for the Gaelic Life player of the week. Rian O'Neill is currently in 2nd place to the Down minor goalkeeper.
They played a McKenna cup game there around the time I was working in Morgan’s bar so between 2003 and 2008. Ronan Austin was playingYes think that was the last game there.. I was there as well

Niall didn't we play another McKenna game against one of the schools on a horrible wet day as I seem to remember Paul Carville from Portadown having a great game and falling heavily on a wet field after taking a free that went all the way? I'm thinking he got a call up too after it to the county! They played a McKenna cup game there around the time I was working in Morgan’s bar so between 2003 and 2008. Ronan Austin was playing

But we lost in 2017 won on sunday & goals weren't in the same net & i was there in 2017 not on sundayHere, I’ve just noticed something. In 2017, we scored two goals in Newry against Down. The scorers - Shields and Murnin.
Last Sunday we scored two goals again. The scorers - that’s right, the same two boyos.
