Folks, hoping for some guidance on this. It’s been YEARS since I sat anywhere in clones (usually prefer to stand) but I’ve ended up with 4 tickets for the Eastern Stand. Unfortunately 2 are for section B & 2 are for section F. My group, kids and all, would obvs like to be together so my question is how rigid are stewards etc re sitting in the allotted section? With the seating being benches I’m guessing they can’t be too precise but is it an option to just sit together no matter your seat or section in the Eastern Stand?

Mostly, it wouldn't matter, but I expect that tomorrow is a full house. The issue is the people sitting in the seats that you are proposing to occupy, if they agree to move to your other seats then no problem, if they do not then the stewards have to ensure that they can sit in the seats they bought.
The other possibility is to swap the tickets with someone with hill tickets.

The Hill on the Eastern stand side will be quiet enough. The raucous crowd will come in at the other end and won't move down that far. Also the full house may mean a better class of supporter. Certainly, if anyone is arrested or thrown out they should check and see which club give them the ticket.

12ish
No matter what there'll be a queue into Monaghan and Clones

Impossible to avoid them although they'll land in close to throw in
Maybe the rain will quieten them

Best of luck all the Lads tommorrow and safe travels all going from the forum ,and indeed the fans from both counties . Would love to see us win It , especially for Geezer , while ive been critical of him on here before , I think he gives us his all and no one could ever question his commitment as well as senior players like Forker , Grugan , Campbell , Murnin and many more . Go for it lads do us proud. Ard Mhacha Abu.

A better class of supporter? Seriously?

Few interesting reads on RTE this morning. One in relation to the keeper debate and the other rather frank view from Mark McHugh on Armagh people.

That Anglo-Celt cup is coming to Armagh tonight. I really feel our supporters and noise and colour will get us over the line today. Nervous wreck all the same lol, COME ON ARMAGH ⬜️, clones bound 11 bells

Some muck talked on here.

All you hear is how strong a squad Armagh have and ones saying bring on a man who hasn’t played competitive football as an outfield player at county level in a long while and wasn’t exactly tearing up trees before that either, and the talk of changing the goalkeeper is madness.

Error by Ethan for Derry goal last year under a high ball no-one seems to remember. Hughes has faced Donegal twice this year will be aware of their press, who to target, etc and has hardly put a foot wrong. If he is dropped he’d be well placed to walk away as others have been kept in due to performances coupled with he’s the best goalkeeper in the county. This “longer kick” that Ethan is meant to have would be food and drink for any opposition with decent fielders as Armagh struggle in the midfield area. Donegal will be delighted if he’s in the parade today.

Then we have a suggestion Nugent tracks McHugh. My God. Fairly obvious that McElroy will go to McHugh as a defensive half forward which he has done before and McCabe will be in the half back line.

McGeeney has been straight enough all year with team announcements don’t expect any changes unless there has been an injury late on.

If Armagh haven’t learned lessons and approach this like they have the big games for the last few seasons they’ll be beat. More than capable of winning if they go for it. Preparing for a snooze fest for most of it.
