Been saying it all year, cross fb line & CHB position is wide open. Some of those GD goals were ridiculous, ran 20-30 yards unchallenged. Cross looked physically smaller than a v big GD side. As for Hanratty, complete liability. Fair play to GD by far the better team.

Thought O'Neill brothers carried Cross. Still think score flatters Gweedore. T
Although they definitely deserved to win. Should still provide a chink of light for rest of clubs in Armagh.

Apart from 2 O'Neills not many played up to standard. Defence including goalkeeper were very poor. Morgan and Aaron were better in 2nd half.
McNiallis and O'Boyle were class acts for Gweedore.
Good football played and not much handpassing.

I’ve always thought Cross can be susceptible to a running game and Gweedore proved that yesterday. Too reliant on the O’Neill’s and defensively too open at this level. Not to take away from Gweedore who I think have a good chance in the final against a beatable Scotstown team. As for Cross, I think their main aim this year was to regain their Armagh crown and anything beyond that was a bonus. They’ve blooded younger players in Ulster who will learn from the experience. Not exactly a bad year for them given they’re still in transition
