It was Rian O'Neill he confronted.
I felt Rian showed a great deal of composure & restraint in not reacting, it showed maturity on his part.
And on top of that he was extremely mature and composed when the ref blew for a free and called the ball back as he'd played an advantage even though Cross were through with the possibility of a goal. Oisin went ballistic and Rian stepped in pushing Oisin away several times to avoid confrontation with the ref. Massive moment of real "bigger man" maturity and most likely avoided it escalating.

So many have said things about this lad, but I believe his year of loving his club football combined with his county appearances giving him exposure nationally has been massive for him. His uncle may have been able to do a job on influencing his mind although that is simple speculation on my behalf. A new era in Crossmaglen and Armagh has begun.

Unnecessary in my opinion.
There is a good chance this assumption is true. both players are out of favour with county management. Ethan wore number 16 in a few championship games this year for armagh and Jack left for being asked to be the sub goalkeeper. Poor form indeed. County needs players who will be willing to play any role management asks them. nobody bigger than county

A player has every right to leave the panel if he is asked to convert to a goalkeeper. Are either of the two mentioned playing in nets for their clubs? If they dont want to play nets then they owe the county nothing. Its a lack of respect from management to the players and the current goalkeeper in my opinion.

I second this.. You think those 2 lads should have bowed down to McGeeney's ridiculous request for them to be in nets?

"Bowed down" really?!?!! Has it ever been stated that this rumour was actually true or was it just another one doing the rounds.

I totally agree that any player is entitled to leave the squad for whatever reason, but I would expect the maturity not to air any grievances on social media, have at it face to face if needs be, but veiled digs are petty.

I would imagine that a joke between Jack and Ethan is that. Hardly airing grievances on social media. Making mountains from non existent molehills. And to be fair 1-06 and 1-04 are respectable hauls in their county finals and a timely reminder of their abilities.
