We would have had serious bother with this Cavan team today also. Really hoping Donegal get a sickner here then us again in back door!

Cavan would have beaten Armagh today. They stayed with Donegal a lot longer simply because they came to the game with intensity - Armagh currently don’t show that. Cavan lost simply because there’s 2/3 divisions between them & Donegal and it counted in the last 10 mins

No cavan lost cause they made mistakes for both Donegal goals & the high in didn't work 2nd half Donegal sorted that out at HT,them goals is the sort of goals I expect Armagh's defence to give away

In fairness though the first Donegal goal could have landed at the sideline as much as the back of the net.
Cavan had everything to gain from that game and Donegal everything to lose.
Every game is different on its day

Their second goal was even more lucky - the defender dropped the ball, hit mcbrearty on the back and landed in front of him.
Regardless of the dropped ball that ball could have bounced back towards the defender.
Lucky bounce.

I'd love to see Armagh go all out attack with no fear next game out.
I'd like to see mccambridge or Higgins get a game too. We will never know what they can do if they don't get games

Cavan were really unfortunate yesterday, should have had a penalty and goal in the first half and they go no luck with Donegal's 2 goals. Showed us up even more. Donegal are not great defensively I think, Monaghan or Derry will fancy their chances big time.

Players who can fetch a ball out of the clouds, particularly at FF or MF, is a great asset to have. That’s what I took from yesterday’s match.

Grimley, jarly og, Rian O'Neill, oisin O'Neill, crealy, Kelly all big men that can win ball. Problem we had was not breaking the ball down we let Donegal win clean ball too much

Fancy Derry this weekend and for Ulster, although I’ve been writing Monaghan off for years as a team in decline they seem to be blooding some new talent.

ARMAGH forward Tiernan Kelly is expected to miss the remainder of the inter-county season due to a blood-clot issue.

It is understood that the tenacious young half-forward became aware of a problem after a training session with his county and will now undergo tests to establish the root cause of the issue. A Hogan Cup winner with St Ronan's, Lurgan during his school days, Kelly was an Armagh Senior Championship with his club Clann Eireann late last year and went on to establish himself as a first-choice starter with his county throughout their Division One campaign. Strong and full of running, Kelly burst onto the scene in last summer's Ulster Championship with goals against Antrim and Monaghan and was a fixture in Kieran McGeeney's side all season. He went through the League with a string of impressive performances that produced scores in six games out of seven as Armagh consolidated their Division One status.

In the Championship, Kelly scored a fine point himself and did the spadework for another as Armagh briefly took the lead before Donegal took a grip on the game and ran out winners in Ballybofey.
