500 spectators in large stadiums is just stupid.
Look at the game in Newry today and see how empty it was

Its not the GAAs fault but the numpties in Stormont

I think it has more to do with what happens afterwards.

18k fans or whatever our second stadium can hold and most of them flocking to a pub after the game.

But what happens after is the individuals issue not the GAA
If you took that to the nth degree then every shop that is open is as culpable

It is but then you will have one set of politicians saying "GAA let in 15000 fans at the end of June and now we have a huge spike in cases in Newry etc". I get people want to go to games but I am ok with having a limited number of spectators. The governments made all the wrong steps when the first wave passed and it reintroduced lockdown measure again. I would prefer it if we all took our time and everyone gets the jab so things can go back to normal sooner rather than later.

Yeah, true. Even if you enforced the wearing of masks at matches, a lot of people will be car sharing on the way to the game without masks. Kind of defeats the purpose.

But then again, the GAA can’t control that. But ultimately, if there’s cases arising from a match, even if the GAA do all they can, they will get it in the neck, as it’s down to the people to do all they can.

This is some stat from @Ardgaa: Next Sunday's clash will be @AontroimGAA's first ever visit to the Athletic Grounds to face @Armagh_GAA in the @UlsterGAA Senior Football Championship!

Followed by this one, they are incredible if correct: @Armagh_GAA have never beaten @AontroimGAA in the ecclesiastic capital in the @UlsterGAA Senior Football Championship in three previous meetings within the city
