We left ourselves open that game to Tyrone snatching it from us at the end. We had a good bit of the ball and missed a few very scoreable chances in the early part of the second half if I remember right (probably the most important period of a game). We really should have been another few points ahead of Tyrone, which would have given us more of a cushion going into the final 5 minutes, and gotten us over the line. Will always have a gnawing sense of regret over that game -one we should have seen out, and got revenge for 03.

I would agree with that. At the point McGeeney was taken off, we should have been 4 or 5 up. The losing of that game was just as much, maybe even more so, due to the chances we missed during the third quarter

If there were any decent enough souls about that day, I don't remember meeting them ;)
