This is a very good minor team. Derry just that little bit smarter buying frees from an extremely poor ref. But the Armagh lads will learn from it and hopefully give the all Ireland series a good go. I’m not saying Cross has anything to do with the process. But the majority of people following Armagh GAA knows the story with Faloon. And there are people within the CB / referees group that know who is best to get a job done if needed.

Not really. Everybody knows Faloon’s close affiliation with Cross. The only surprising thing is that he didn’t actually get the 2nd semi final. Paudie Hughes usually has a wee say in those matters

He (Faloon) obviously thinks Cross (if they get to final) would have a better chance of beating Clans than C.E. And somebody in the county board thinks the same. So that’s what they do then. They role out Mr Faloon who duly obliges. Not the first time that has happened this year.
