The goalkeeper debuting shouldn’t even be a factor, I doubt Blaine would of done any better. He only made 1 save against Antrim and it was hit at his legs.

Game over. Season over. Probably this team over.

Each goal so naive. So lazy. So frustrating.

Shot choice and use of possession too often poor/ plain dumb, as well.

There’s a lot of talent in that team, but it will never be rewarded while there exists this propensity for self sabotage.

You need brains to make use of talent.

Did Armagh ever previously concede 4 goals in the first half of a championship game?

Really really really hard to watch.
Not pushing up on lockouts every single time as well, gets frustrating watch this team at times when the talent is there

Armagh work their way back into the game but McGeeney insists on pushing up on Monaghan goal kicks and it is leaving us exposed at the back. If we played conservative at the beginning we would still be in this. If we get the tactics right now we could get back into this but we arent!

I don't know why we have gone from poor defence to blanket defence to a non-existent defence. The new GK does have a bearing on this game because they know Magill isn't first choice, he hasn't played a senior game and they are going to test him. The first test he had Monaghan scored a goal.

We really need to be tight on them with a blanket defence and play counter attacking football and make every opportunity count. It is vital in the second half we score on every attack, we have had about 6/7 wides in this game so far and scored 14. We are getting the scoring opportunities but need to take them.

Monaghan cannot keep this up and it is vital we get to within 3 by the 60th minute.

That supposes we don’t continue to concede goals. There’s nothing in that shitshow of a first half to suggest that will happen.

This could end up 6/7/ whatever Monaghan want. The sort of scoreline that finishes intercounty careers.

Being out-thought by Banty ffs. This is a low, low point in our history. Heads should roll.

Game not over yet. There’s a goal or 2 in us. Need to pull it back to within 3 by water break

I think there would need to be a tactical mastermind in the management team to get us back into this.

It is 30 degrees and our players are going to be feeling it just like the Monaghan ones. It will come down to conditioning. We haven't fallen apart which is one positive - but now is the time we put in a performance.

Class goal by Turbitt. Brave and clever. We need more of that.
