You have to hand it to Tyrone, they really played well yesterday and dealt with the man down very well for 20 mins of the 2nd half. They are still a good step above us and our defence is miles off theirs.
H'on Mayo in the final but their track record is abysmal. I think Tyrone will beat them.

I can't get out of me head what Ceaney did in the 1st half for what should have been a kerry goal
That's something that gets my goat, players not having the guts to stick the ball in the net and instead passing on the responsibility to someone else. Same with fist overs when a goal is on. Surprised myself by actually being content enough to see Tyrone winning. Back to normal behaviour for the final!

kerry either didn’t believe as a team they could win or thought it was gonna be a cake walk …. Horse Devlin was right and Tyrone showed them up for being what Kerry are…a flat track bully who can’t cope when it’s actually put up on on them. We set the template on 2002 and the hoors from Tyrone have fine tuned it. They hate us boys from the Black north and always have the chip now.
Historically I would have no great love for Tyrone as I thought under Harte they had a nasty approach to the game but I don’t get this off this team. They work like fcuk and have some top class players. They do seem to have an integrity about them and that would reflect Fergal Logan. I’ve known Fergal for many years and he is a gentleman and I think the team effect that.
Kerry had chances and played with an extra man for 20 minutes in total and did not take advantage of it. They didn’t like how Tyrone actually tackled them and were lucky in a few occasions that they didn’t have black cards against them. They were tactically out-thought and physically out worked. When Kerry lost Clifford they had no focal point in attack and were relying on Tommy Walsh who hasn’t delivered since he came back from Australia.
For the final it’s a great opportunity for either team to win. I wouldn’t begrudge either team but have to tentatively ‘support’ Tyrone because of herself but either way I think it will be a popular win.
So long as Down never win it again I can cope!

Kerry naivity to the fore again
But Tyrone cute hoorism, buying easy frees and taking their scores at the right time won the day

Also how did inter County players not understand the concept of the square ball.

Hard to disagree with any of that. Well, except the bit about supporting Tyrone. That missus of yours is a bad influence on you :D

It's rare I post something that is popular, but I'm gonna buck that trend and say I'm hoping there is a new start to Ulster dominance beginning 911.

Step away from the drugs  By the way have you suddenly become American?!?! 911
Ah now come on!! The doctor told me to keep smoking the nettles. He said it reduced the pain of listening to sensible people :D

American?? I really thought no-one would even notice with the other bit :p

Tyrone have many flaws and faults and rode their luck at time. The Kerry goal was unforgivable from their point of view but they were very well organised and deserved their win. Another Ulster county who brought in new management and have had a bounce from it. Yet we have given ours a seventh year...........................

Like many of us, my dislike for them was forged in steel during the Mickey Harte era. A real toxic crowd. Can't say I've warmed up to this bunch to be honest. Probably its the association with Dooher and remembering some of his side line antics when we played them at U21 a some years back. Tipp didn't seem too impressed with these guys either after the final that year, although I think they (Tipp) didn't handle the post game situation that well.

But I do admire their single mindedness and belief. Their footballing culture never accepts the notion of being anything less than an genuine front runner for an All Ireland title-every year. They have a winners mentality. We genuinely could learn something from them.
I hope Mayo kick their arses
