We're still there. That's the only positive we need to remember for the next one. Improvement on last day but not the finished article. And I hope whomever we WILL be playing in the ulster final underestimates us. That'll suit us well. We've big fight in us, and that's a good foundation to go on

Overall I thought Armagh was very poor. Were lucky to escape that game with a draw.

They just don’t seem well-equipped to play the modern game. Too often choose to attempt long low-percentage kick passes instead of a simple hand pass

After what donaghy did he'll probably get a month which means he'll be out off the Ulster final after we beat cavan next week

Good to see you’re keeping up to date with the rule changes Bull

Donaghy probably get one game, can’t see it being two games. One knee in the players back and the other on the ground, stupid and uncalled for as someone else has said but not actually that dangerous.

Why did the referee issue a yellow and red?

On the game in general, we still look low on confidence and so afraid of getting beat. Cavan were there for the taking, hopefully the lads will take confidence from that, put today behind them and win next week.

Great to be back in Clones today!
Was a proud Armagh man again, all the fans enjoying themselves and having the craic

As for the game.
Well done to the lads, serious shift put in against a good Cavan team.

Just would love to see us mark our men and not give away these short kick outs every time.
Thought Crealey was super when he came on, great player to spring off the bench and a possible partner beside JOgBurns?

Soupy was great to watch, carried the ball so well.
A Cavan man said our defence was top notch today, I couldn’t agree more, very focused and restricted Cavan of any major goal chances.

Bring on Cavan next week again , murnin starting from the outset, Grimley a little sharper and Oisin O’Neill to come on

If he did get yellow and red surely he won't be suspended next week?

Only got to watch bits and pieces of the game earlier.

Blaine Hughes kept kicking possession away - he could have just went up to the Cavan player and gave him the ball. The two instances this happened was when he kicked the ball and it went to the Cavan player unopposed and directly into his hands. Another instance was when the ball was kicked up the field and (think it was Burns) an Armagh player was surrounded by three Cavan players and we lost possession. We won 53% of our kick outs compared to Cavan's 84% which is ridiculous. The first 15 minutes from what I saw we didn't even challenge their kick outs.

Donaghy made a really stupid mistake dropping his knees into the Cavan player - a fully deserved red card.

Jarlath has been superb in both games. He is a real machine, one minute he is defending and the next he is up the field scoring goals or points. I previously suggested he be made captain but I will backtrack on that - he needs to develop and focus on his own game at his level of experience. Definitely a future leader.

Our defence still needs a lot of work, I like that we have used the swarm defence and that is what probably took its toll on the team which showed at ET. However, we still conceded too many frees 28 to Cavan's 18.

The frees and kick outs probably cost us more than 3 points today.

This passing the ball around the defence needs to stop, we panic too much and the fear starts to set in. I get why we are doing it but if we are to close out games this needs to be addressed. As long as we have the ball the opposition cannot score. Playing it around the backline is just going to invite the team to play a high pressing game. Perhaps we should aim at speeding up our transition from slow defence to fast attacking.

It was a hugely entertaining game and well done to all but I think this team needs to work more as a unit.
