From what i see around camlough cruppen have no chance in ulster, if they get over a poor randalstown
Belleek hopefully can do well big oneill and mcverrys are good players.
And cross are cross theyll be there or there abouts after they get rid of CE who will let the occaision get to them imo
Randalstown are no mugs and Cruppen would do well to get over them

I'd say who ever wins between Sean McDermott's Monaghan vs Cookstown Tyrone will win the Ulster Junior championship

Good on ya bull! nice off you to show some faith in beleek, what is it with north armagh ones having a serious agenda against southern clubs more than likely jealousy
That Cookstown side won a couple of intermediate All Irelands, know nothing about them but I’m guessing they’re strong enough based on that and probably favourites overall.

Best of luck to Belleek and Cruppen in Ulster they’re both young sides, flying fit and will fear no one. They’ve a good gap to get sobered up and prepared for Ulster. Best of luck also to whoever wins on Sunday in the senior.

By all accounts Cruppen only went on the lash for 2 days. Not much celebration there, must be fully focused on Ulstero_O

craobh rua and beleek scheduled to play in ulster on same day with a few lads on both teams, surely this isnt fair with players torn between football and small ball, hopefully sense can avail by the fixture comittee at ulster gaa

Hopefully they give them at least a week. Cruppen probably have lads involved on both teams as well

I expect this cruppen team to go far in the ulster intermediate, quality forwards at this level, strong impact from the bench and the astute Barry flynn won’t settle for just an armagh championship.

im not so sure, with other commitments and lack of experience but i hope i eat my words come december.
Who are the men to look out for you reckon, are they too reliant on young woods?

Ulster is a different animal that county and the step up is huge. Generally speaking ‘nice’ football teams can win county but cannot win the provincial title. Rougher weather, wetter pitches, all teams at a similar level. Each team needs dogs of war, work horses who plough through.

Experience is also vital. It’s rare that a team comes from nowhere and goes the whole way. They’ve generally been in and out of the provincial scene a few times before making the breakthrough.
Historically Tyrone, Monaghan and Derry have produced consistent teams at intermediate and junior level and I would suspect that they will be there or thereabouts as winners in both competitions this year, and that’s not being harsh on Cruppen or Belleeks who id love to see pushing on.
Senior it’s hard to look beyond Scotstown or Kilcoo. Glen have the talent and experienced winning at underage but it’s a huge step up to playing against teams who have been at this level for years. Scotstown only downfall is they haven’t been challenged in Monaghan hardly this year but in the Hughes, Beggan, Carey, McCarthy and a solid under cast they have the players to do it. Mentality os what may stop them.

Kilcoo and Scotstown could meet in semi finals, be tough to call

Very few, Daryl braninan went off in county final with hamstring could be a big loss. Theyre my bet for ulster, as bcb says its hard to bate the experience

This is very true. We won an intermediate in 2012 and finished 2nd in Div 1. Stevie Mac was still flying, we had a brilliant side and fell at the first hurdle.

2017 came, won another intermediate with arguably a better rounded side, including a few lads who did it in 2012. Felt like a real craic at Ulster was on the cards. Beat again in the first round. In my biased view both of our Intermediate winning sides were stronger than the Cruppen side that has just done it- and that's not taking anything away from them. That exact 2017 team went and won Div 1B in 2018. But we completely failed to make a dent in the provincial. It's very hard to see Belleek or Cruppen making a dent either.
