Same lad as above - he is going around stoking the fight - Started on Mackin, O'Neill, McCabe and Sheridan and a player I cannot identify

A match suspension in the same code at the same level applicable to the next game in the SAME COMPETITION, even if that game occurs in the following year.

Timekeeping was perfectly fine.

Not sure what the management were hoping for from today's game but they won't have got it. Old habits die hard. We are more than capable of winning in 4 weeks but its hard to have too much confidence. We were also capable of beating them 2 years ago when we were beaten by 13 points.

After watching most of our league games, I'd say the following players are guaranteed starters for the championship:

1 - ?
2 - Morgan
3 - McKay
4 - former
5 - mccabe
6 - ?
7 - burns
8 - mackin
9 - ?
10 - grugan
11 - r.oneill
12 - kelly
13 - Nugent
14 - ?
15 - ?

1 - rafferty seems to be the choice in nets although Hughes should feel a bit unlucky. Given our lack of kick out options at midfield nobody is going to look comfortable in goals

6 - not sure who the last defender is likely to be. Morgan picked up an injury today so may be doubtful as well. We seem to lack pace and physicality in defence so Rowland may not be the best option. Conor o'neill was poor today. Disappointed that higgins didn't get a chance during the league. I like ohanlon but id imagine connaire mackin or paddy burns will be favourite to get the last spot.

Incidentally, I can remember jarly og coming on the seen a few years back as a high fetching mid fielder who won every single throw in he contested. I don't know if he needed converted into a wing back. He offers pace going forward but he can't defend and his tackling is lazy and will be exposed as the year goes on. Morgan, crealey and burns all give points away today when they had comfortable possession.

9 - I was thinking at the start of the year we had great options at midfield - oisin o'neill, burns, grimley, t.kelly. Add to that that Ciaran mackin has been a fantastic find. However, we seem to have really struggled and whoever is in nets must look to the midfield area with dread. Not sure why grimley has fallen out of favour. Oisin is obviously a big injury loss. Crealey's attempts at holding the 2 donegal midfielders for the throw ins to allow his midfield partner to catch it were like watching someone from west belfast trying to hold 2 sheep. Crealey looks likely to start

14 & 15 - Before today I would have thought hall was a certain starter given that he could do a job on McHugh. Not sure what management expected of him. He is the first player replaced every week, no matter how he is playing. Campbell is certainly good enough to be starting but will be used as a sub again and in fairness he does make an impact when introduced. Turbitt has been / is a massive miss. Hall and murnin favourites to start. Duffy has played ok in patches but made little impact today

Im gonna be slated for this, but this was a dead rubber game. Being played in Letterkenny so Armagh didnt have a dry run before the championship in Ballybofey. Grugan and O Neill didnt start and we were not making a league final so we should have left them on the bench and out of the reach of antagonism. By my reckoning we will be missing 3 players come championship and O Neill is one. Advantage Donegal, we got played today.

People need to get real on this forum.
The game was over.
We lost.
Mayo won. Our league was over.
Get off the field. Get into the dressing room and prepare for the return match in 4 weeks.

Instead, and remember this is after we had been through a similar experience v Tyrone, a vast number of players both on the field and from the bench have clearly got involved in something so unnecessary it makes me sick to my stomach.

There are clear strikes from both teams. There will be suspensions. There has to be especially after the Tyrone game. We are going to be without crucial players and the reality is it is deserved.
Discipline Is a massive part of any players make up and the fact is we lost the ours today at the end of that game.
If it contributes to a loss in 4 weeks it is unforgivable.
Yes, the Sunday Game we’re delighted to highlight it and not the football but that is because we have given them the opportunity.
If a Donegal player instigated it, walk away and retaliate by beating the s*** out of them in the championship.
Posters need to wake up here and take off the orange blinkers.
