Some amount of people giving off about Geezer all over social media tonight. It is what it is, we will still support the team at the end of the day. Background team change could be all that is needed for a shake up

I’m looking forward to supporting Armagh, no matter who is in charge.
Whatever about mediocrity and disappointment and tactics, having watched most games this year, I’m of the opinion the players tried their very best for Armagh.
And as long as that continues they will have my support.
You might be better staying at home Diarmi
I'll do what ever I like. I support our county, not one man.

If 62 voted in favour and 21 were CB that leaves 41 clubs. 25 for McGeeney and 16 against. Not exactly split down the middle. He would have got in anyway.
So 5 other clubs didn't vote! if you count Clann Eireann 2nds,Killeavy 2nds,Crossmaglen 2nds as different clubs to their seniors lol

True he would have got in but 60/40 split isn’t “overwhelming” as some are claiming.
If the clubs did want him gone they’d of had to of voted 32 to 9 against.
Think it disingenuous to say it was club delegates that decided.

Anyway it’s over now and it is what it is, hopefully he’ll prove me wrong but I doubt it.

The whole thing was rigged from the start, county executive had 21 votes all cast in favour before the clubs arrived. The club vote was split down the middle.
Are you saying that these 21 votes were put into a box or something before the clubs arrived?
How was the voting done?

A page was passed around to be signed by the delegates or proxy
I believe that at each county committee meeting a register is handed around for those in attendance to sign. A record of attendance if you like.

Congrats to Geezer getting another crack at it. Needs tactical support so hopefully he can make the right calls and get the right person/people in.

Would be great to see us in a league final next year and back in Croker for a quarter final at least - I wouldn't be so worried about Ulster if I'm honest.

Why you not worried about ulster??

Its not as if that team have medals hanging out their arse pockets.

We can win 4 competitions mc kenna cup(only pre season), league( only div2), ulster( fans dont care) all ireland.

Unless we find 3-4 new played all irleand out of the question. A nice draw ulster should be prioritised.

Very disappointing in how this was done. A lot of county delegates for clubs have been there years and are within the county click looking brownie points so no doubt went against their own clubs members who wanted a change in management and voted to keep him.

All that on top of the CB getting a ridiculous amount of votes themselves, it’s not exactly a vote by the clubs at all.

Anyway it’s done now and looking forward to 2024 where we will get more of the same handbrake up football in crucial moments. Probably finish 3rd in division 2 with McGeeney blaming the ref in the final match followed by a penalty shoot out defeat in the all Ireland quarters to Roscommon despite being 5 points up and a man up in ET. Bring it on!
