Or they're given another chance to redeem themselves? If theres no changes then that would suggest last week was seen as acceptable which would be very worrying.

exact same subs and all. I think they just threw in the same teamsheetImagine there will be some change to the team named, surly some of the other lads deserve a shout after last week. Find it very strange oisin o neill isnt named.
You can't be serious, them boys havent played in yearsI hear Jim McKerr, Ger Reid and Francie Bellew have been called back to the panel as a new look full forward line.
I don't understand why we have 2 defenders in that half forward line, especially when we have attackers who are work horses that are good defensively and can chip in with a score, ie. Kelly, Duffy, hall and so on. Half back line has become the most important line for attacking for running on to moves late, being good defensively isn't that big a need because we play a defensive shape so it's about disapline, that's why the likes of forker are good there but if we had a mcquillan in there with his speed and late runs onto the ball against defending teams and able to break lines or chip in points, but no disrespect to Louth and Meath but we shouldn't be overly defensive against these teamsExactly the same team as last week. Trying to be positive here and see it as McGeeney wanting the team to get another chance to perform and make up for last week. The other part of me says, how and why are we playing two defenders at wing forward, at home to Meath? Why? Best of luck on Saturday evening to the team.
I sear to god, I actually saw Peter Rafferty with a new Armagh track suit on this morning too which makes me think he might be in the mix also. You can't be serious, them boys havent played in years
I think there's a bigger picture at play, trying to perfect it now for bigger battles down the line. Whilst we probably could and would all love to see a gung ho approach and blow away a meath or louth, its hard to switch when you need to and meet Derry in an ulster final (hopefully)....I don't understand why we have 2 defenders in that half forward line, especially when we have attackers who are work horses that are good defensively and can chip in with a score, ie. Number 11 is highly thought of. Apparently a good young forward.
Hard to judge based on a windy first week. From what I remember of Meath is they have smaller but strong forwards who are quick and goal threats but I haven't seen much of them in a few yearsMeath are very good at scoring form distance. All but 2 points last week were between the 21 and 50
The something is that Meath have nearly always had the upper hand in contests with us. I suspect that they are a better team than Louth and the same type of performance by Armagh as last week won’t be good enough. I hope I’m wrong.I have a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach about this match (although it could just be the iffy stew Mrs M made earlier). But something tells me we’re not going to get this easy.
