In 2022 club leagues will probably be run April, May, June & July in Armagh (at a guess). Club Championship August onwards. In Armagh leagues have to finished first due to championship seeding. Means club league will not have county players until county exits championship. I'm not complaining...

Does the split season now mean that county players will no longer be playing club league games in Armagh?

Ciaran is going to be a very busy lad. I was told he was ratified during the week as County Minor Manager for 2021, he has a role with Mayobridge and now added on to senior management. Peter McDonnell staying on as U20 Manager. Best to luck to both for 2021 - two good Armagh men.

You would hope any county player not in the match day squad for a league game will be allowed to go and play for their club that weekend.

What a lot on here say I take with a pinch of salt but IMO Gar is a super poster and I've no reason not to believe him. If it was said by certain other posters I'd actually think it was a lie.

If Brendan Donaghy has been fit for the last 4 games then it definitely is a massive mistake by our management not to use him. Our team was crying out for him and I for one thought he must have been injured and that's why he hasn't featured. I'm shocked to find he was fully fit all along.

I do think there are serious issues in our development squads/underage structures and coaching. This has been going on for a few years now and is something that needs addressed at county board level.
