What are the logistics around the Clare game?

How do the team travel, eat, shower etc? Are they allowed to stay over?

I heard Roscommon had 2 buses coming up, and also some players drove up in their own cars. Afterwards, apparently the Roscommon players were fed dinners by Armagh and ate them in the stand. Weird times!

I did read some but not all of the reaction to Saturday game.

I have reservations about our management but at the end of the term the Roscommon game shouldn’t feature in the review of their term. If ever a game needed an asterisk beside it this was it. Hugely disrupted preparation and strange context. You can’t draw conclusions from this game.

The big takeaway for us has to be tackling and discipline. This has to be the biggest area of focus. This week and every week until we get it right.

I would love to get in to Division 1. No point dodging it

If we don't win saturday, we will find it extremely tough to try go up next year, will be one of the toughest division 2s ever. Basically our all ireland final on saturday.

If we don’t win questions need to be asked of the set up.
Losses to Laois/ Clare and a draw with Westmeath would not show improvement after 6 years
For me I expect to win by 5/6 on Saturday

A good result on Saturday would end a great league campaign.

Btw is the league winner whoever finishes first? Assume no finals
Maybe not awarding league titles ?

I think you're right. It's straight into the Ulster a week later so seems unlikely they'll play any finals later!

Cahair O'Kane tweeted this:
See there's positive tests in Roscommon. They travelled to Armagh on two buses and some players didn't feel comfortable even with that and drove. Ate their post-match meal, provided by Armagh, in the stand. Didn't stay over. Seemed to do everything completely by the book

By reading the reports seems to a player on one of the buses so the whole bus group misses Cavan game.

I'm sure it now leaves counties questioning best way to travel.

Antrim hurlers also had a case but they travelled by car only those in that car isolating I think.

With knockout championship games coming up quick buses may not be viable anymore.

To expect a player to drive down to Clare in a car and then play a match then drive home is a disaster too.

And okane has a huge agenda against Armagh
Why didn't he say that the player could have been at work, in a shop or whatever.
Perhaps the GAA should shut everything down and then these so called journalists will have nothing to write about.
Balance the argument not bite the hand that feeds you
