That photo has either been deleted from team talk mag twitter or photoshopped. Either way, it's nonsense
Correct. Both had two sent off, both restarted with 15. There was along discussion between referee and officials and then managements before taking to the field again. Teamtalk or as they should be referred to "SHITETALK" once again set themselves up as the official guide only to be shot down. Getting worse than the Irish News

We had a player sent off in extra time tho ,was he allowed to be replaced?.
Yes he was replaced also, Armagh and Tyrone both got 2 red cards each in the malee but one of Armagh’s red cards was given to one of there subs then once Armagh got the equaliser the ref give Turbitt a second yellow (not sure what it was for) so I presume that extra extra time is classified as a new game just like extra time.

if / when CCC look at video, perhaphs they will look at the referee and how he lost control of the match. Tyrone number 2 poked, proded, nipped etc R Mc Quillan the whole way up the pitch in full view of linesman prior to the wee bit of a row.
Added to this the 2 mins 15 secs he played over the official 2mins of injury time at the end of normal time allowing Tyrone to draw.

also in extra extra time, ref wouldn't allow D Loye on as a sub in first 5 mins but in 2nd 5 mins had no problem allowing Tyrone to make a substitution ???
Once again good look at standard of referee needed, wonder what Jim O'Rourke's review on ref will be like??

I have to say last night was as enjoyable a game as I have witnessed, great passion, commitment and skills from both sides. Armagh did fantastically well to pulll this one out of the bag, against a very well conditioned and physically huge Tyrone team. I thought our ff and young Duffy were absolutely outstanding. While o neill struggled at times he never hid and acted as a leader for the side, partivulatly in extra time.

Melee was unfortunate, but it really added to the tension & excitement. Welll done to the players & management. Also it was great to see the senior team players there, cheering on the lads, really reinforced to me that Armagh no matter the circumstances supports each of its teams. Good luck to the seniors today....

I'm told by someone who as at the match that we had a starter who had been subbed during the game was also Red carded after the melee. Anyone confirm.

Same no 2 also threw a head butt over on the shed side about 2 mins before this and lineswoman seen it and seemed to radio to ref about it but nothing came of it. Great display. Thought goal chances wasted were going to come back to bite us.

Yeah but that's one thing that can never be disputed as it's always called as "at least ???? minutes of additional time at the end of normal time" which covers them if they play another 20. They can always say "the keeper slowed things" or "there were further subs brought on" or "an additional injury!" It's an argument that can never be won.

To be fair to the ref, he looked completely knackered after the injury time and I'd have thought he'd have wanted to go home. We also gt our fair share of frees including very scorable ones so on balance I don't accept that he was trying to do us any harm. The assessor was sitting just to our right and he was kept very busy or at least looked like he was making a lot of notes. That could be an interesting read.

I see on sportsjoe.ie they are saying brawl happened after it was all over.
How can they get something so wrong.

They're getting as bad as Hoganstand and Irish News. Very sloppy reporting (ok copying & pasting) without fact checking. All about the clicks for advertisers

Those big dirty northerners at it again. Near 2 and a half hours of non stop terrific action and they only care to highlight a 30 second row. If it had been Cork and Kerry playing the southern media would have been falling over themselves about the skill level on show. We havnt gone away you know....
