Same old story.. top class forwards and no defense.. big mistake taking Nugent off so early. Vernon on McKiernan was a mistake.. goal chances created and didn’t take them. On another day 1 or 2 of them go in and it’s a different game..

We'll win tomorrow. Rian O'Neill to hit 6 points (he was up late last week watching Liverpool winning the CL and only managed 4 points), Jamie to pull the strings, Forker to have another MOTM performance and Nugent to score our only goal.

FT Armagh 1-16 Cavan 0-14.

What’s a disgrace is the sheer amount of negative posts before this game was even over. Is it completely out of the realm of possibility that Cavan, a division 1 team, narrowly beat us fair in square? Both teams got a lot of soft frees (even Aidan o’rourke commented on paddy nielans refereeing deficiencies) and both had goal chances. Rian O’Neill has effectively carried our scoring this year but the lad needs to look for the pass more often, 3 times he shot when there were better options. If we score any of our goal chances it’s a different game.

Well done to Cavan, very good team. Looking forward to the qualifiers where our team can cut loose.
