I assume like last year championship is groups of 4 based on league position so cannot be made until the league finishes in August I reckon.

off topic but i hear the leagues start 31st March. That is so early its laughable. Clocks only go forward on the 25th so those teams without floodlights wont get much in terms of ball work before the season starts

If they said 20th April it's too late
Personally the first Sunday in march should see the start of the league's.

pleasing no people?? This is the earliest league start that I can remember in 20 odd years playing senior football, it is virtually always a fortnight after the clocks go forward and I cant remember ever playing a league game in March, ever. You reckon the league should start at the beginning of March when the National League is still on and clubs without floodlights would have to wait another month to get any actual ball work? Thats a new one...
Additionally if Armagh were to get to the league final the fixtures would probably have to be changed in week 1.

Well I can remember starting the league before paying in an AI final on the 17th March!!! Normally the first or second week of April is fine, ground starting to firm up and evenings getting brighter....that is till you have Easter snow and are house bound by the end of April

that must have been 1997 then, missed it by a year
