Crossmaglen vs Killeavy Almost caught Cross last year, fancy them to get the job done this time but very tough call.
Pearse Ogs vs Ballymacnab Nab probably favourites, the class of the Grugans should get them through it.
Maghery vs Clann Eireann similar to the Cross and Killeavey game, CE could have won it last year and fancy them to do it this time, their two county men will be hard to stop. Very tough one to call again
St Patrick's vs Silverbridge both came through tough tests today in shite conditions, on the fence with this game as well

That wasn't the best I've seen from armagh tv today, but the weather did look horrible to be fair. I found the sound to be weird as well, but that could have been my tin cans and the neighbour constantly moving their computer and I had to adjust my viewing angle over the fence!

Aye I think they did say the lost connection was due to the weather.

Cross v Killeavy a flip of the coin this tie and Killeavy have it in their locker no doubt about it. I think Cross will edge it based on having played two tough ties already, having two of the best players in Armagh on their team and Killeavy having came through what was essentially a bye (no disrespect)

Maghery v Clann Éireann another one that could go either way. The winner will come from this tie IMO. Clann Éireann have an embarrassment of riches and like Killeavy have it in their locker to take down one of the big guns. Maghery have experience and know-how and won’t be easy beat.

Pearse Óg v Ballymacnab Another hard call but think the Nab have the better forwards, if Ogs can keep Grugan x2 and McParland quiet they stand a chance - big if though. Pearse Óg must be suspect at the back if St. Peter’s were able to put 4 past them.

Cullyhanna v Silverbridge A tasty derby, mildly surprised by the Bridge taking Dromintee but goes to show league standings mean nothing. Cullyhanna are never easily beaten in championship so this will be an epic battle. Bridge get the nod for me, more rounded team less reliant on individuals.

Cross v Killeavy - I think we will give Cross their fill of it, but our average age is about 21 and I think the experience Cross can call on makes them a heavy favourite. Planning their semi final already I would think.

Maghery v Clann Éireann - people forgetting that this Maghery team are multiple county champions and are arguably the most physical side in the county. CE have it all to do and while they will undoubtedly make this a tight game, Maghery know how to win those. Unless CE can take get Turbitt doing major damage inside and build up a big lead I can't see them getting over the line.

Pearse Óg v Ballymacnab - Not difficult to see Ballymacnab coming out on top here. Their county men make all the difference probaly more than any other club in this. Ogs cant expect to progress when they're still relying on the spine of the 09 team to carry them. Too old, nobody to mark either Grugan and over reliant on Paul Duffy. Nab by 5+

Cullyhanna v Silverbridge - Near impossible to call. Cullyhanna made hard work of Mullabawn but weather conditions probably a leveller. As @armaghlad said, Bridge are probably better balanced overall, though they lack any kind of marquee forward. They also don't have a reliable free taker. Nugent, especially from frees and Duffy to make the difference and Pats to win by the minimum.

Cross, Nab, Cullyhanna and Maghery will win their respective QF. I expect cross to have 4 or 5 points to spare with experience being key. Cullyhanna and Silverbridge will be the tightest game.

Maghery have bucket loads of experience and ability, and I think they will win comfortably to be honest.

Nab by 3 or 4 points over the Ogs

The cute hoorism has started already ;). Should be a serious game and will depend on how well Killeavy can shackle the O’Neills and McConville. Who picked them up in last years game?

No dead rubbers in the quarter finals this year which is great to see, all 8 teams will fancy themselves in their respective ties, great for the neutral, hope we can get 2 double headers in the AG, was great to see the crowds back at all the matches.

You’d suspect the 3 winners of the qf will hope to draw the winners of cullyhanna & sliverbridge match.

Cathair McKinney did a reasonable job on Rian last year. I can't remember who marked Oisin but it was actually Morris who did more damage. He's very underrated. Young Lee Rice marked McConville I think. Did ok but it's a big ask to take them on. Aaron Kernan destroyed us from number 6 in a recent league game and it's great for them to be able to call on him and Tony still. Must be about 35 county medals just between those two.
