Clanns gave Cross their fill of it today, the 2 superstars Rian and Soupy were well marked for the most part. Rian kicked a few lovely points and Soupy scored a goal and played a part in the second.

Cian McConville was first class for Cross. Him and 14 for Clanns must be worth Geezer looking at?

Thought it was an exciting game and a good start to the championship! Clans showed that they definitely deserve to be at senior level. It's a pity there isn't even a back door system for them to get another day out. Cross weren't at their best but showed their experience at the end. Great sideline kick by O'Neill to ultimately set up cian mcconville for the point that sealed it.

Is there a master fixture plan available for full championships with proposed dates/rounds?

Seems hard to get one or an answer having asked.

Do you have to buy tickets for individual matches on the my ticket app does anyone know?
You can get them on the app but seemed to be a lot having problems with tickets not showing on app. Could just buy ticket at gate yesterday but mightn't be an option in later rounds. They need to do away with only opening half the rows asap.

Yeah they should be opening up the other areas now as the crowds are getting bigger

Any predictions for weekend?

All the junior games look like foregone conclusions, bar Dorsey and Corrinshego would be a surprise if any of the underdogs get within 10 points.

Intermediate a bit more interesting.
Culloville and Shanes should be a close game and the winners will fancy themselves to go far. I’ll go for Culloville

Keady and Wolfe Tones another close one, probably fancy Wolfe Tones. Same for Ballyhegan and Whitecross but I’d back Whitecross to get the job done.

You’d expect Forkhill, St Pauls, Cruppen, Sarsfields, and Tullysarran to win fairly comfortably.

Enjoyable start to the championship with Clans nearly taking a scalp over Crossmaglen at the weekend. That bit of extra experience probably got Cross over the line but Clans didn’t look out of place. A few other clubs will probably fancy their chances of taking Cross who looked out of sorts at times and are definitely suspect at the back.

In terms of this weekend coming I’m not too well versed in the junior championship but the intermediate looks pretty clear cut apart from Keady/Wolfe Tones and Ballyhegan/Whitecross

Tullysaran, Forkhill, St. Paul’s, Sarsfield’s, Cruppen and Shane’s should all come through their respective ties

I can't see any logic in why they aren't doing it now. I understood when the players used the far stand as changing rooms but that has since been changed.
At the last county board meeting a strong discussion on the severe lack of stewards took place.
Without stewards in the AG games can't be managed properly.

The AG is a designated ground and is governed by different rules set down by councils, sports bodies and the law of the land.

Social distancing is still required

It is understood that an inspection from a sports body took place last weekend as well
