Rivers of bucky will flow.
Good to see St Marys doing well. Hard working club at underage level. I really hope they win and forge their identity in the eyes of some folk in Antrim who still regard them as 'blow ins'.
Nostalgic for that part of the world. Awkward Saturday nights as a teenager out courting at The Igo Inn.
Good lord, Downeys!!Haven't heard that place mentioned in about 61 years and me thinking ye were a whipper snapper................Jeez hope it wasn't you I was snogging in the barn behind the drink store ewwwwww!!!!!!:(

Shit should have saved that for another more sensible thread

Unfortunately this CCTV footage is inconclusive. I guess we’ll never know.

Jeez man. An unsettling thought.
More likely you would have passed me walking on the road back into Lurgan trying to catch a ride.
That's not a euphemism by the way.

CE will be in the same boat, they would also fall under the catagory of a first win in donkeys years.

But they are a club that has been building to this win. There’s more of an expectation for them as opposed to a hope. No one would have believed that Aghagallon would have made the final and Creggan were massive underdogs v Cargin. Two real outsiders in the final. Can’t really say that about CE. They should be looking to Ulster as a real opportunity for them to get to the semis at least and then who knows. There’s a real chance for them to make the Ulster final and then anything could happen, Mullaghbawn 1995?

Holy f#*k!!!
Championship started mid September and it's been very well explained why championship finishes when it does..
This is adult competitions so maybe you forgot yourself

It could have been finished up a few weeks earlier than it is being. Ten weeks to complete a straight knock out competition is dragging it out surely. For fans and players a bit earlier could easily have been done.

I think you’ll find teams would rather a 2 weeks gap between games give them a chance to recover and focus on the next match.

While celebrating their win in the clubhouse, one of the CE boys will wind up Cross in a TikTok video. Cross will take it thick, and go on and win another 20 county titles in a row, and a half dozen All Ireland’s.

(The youngsters won’t be understanding that).

Haven't been online in a couple of days. Arrive back to see that @bcb1 is attempting to tell us CE are somehow in with a great shot of an Ulster final a week before their first county final in a couple of centuries. Only in Cross and maybe Kerry youd get it, but even Spillane would be blushing!

Flip me, you’re very cynical ;)

Ah come on….I just call it as I see it….

Not so sure who has that expectation on them outside of their own circles. As for talking about Ulster titles I think we are in cloud cuckoo land. I think Armagh club football is a long way off the top 3 or 4 in Ulster. Antrim is equally as bad a standard so there is that opportunity to progress to the next round.
