it would be the 3rd match, we were a point up in the first match with less than 5 mins to play and in the ascendancy when unfortunately one of the forkhill boys broke his leg and it was called off, obviously his safety came first on that day.

Its a quare trek to do twice with no result lol[/QUOTE

Jeepers that is mental lol I would be surprised and would be a clear indication they would want Forkhill to go up if they got the opportunity to replay it. I still think they will be favourites to go up tho seeing the three county men will be back. What was decided at the meeting?

That league is so tight. I heard from an Eire Og man that they have appealed to Ulster and are waiting on a hearing. If replayed it means Eire Og could get to 15 points. That’s pushing promotion rather than relegation.

Or forkhill will be pushing for promotion... Think tho it goes on head to head have Middletown not beat Eire og twice. I'd say Middletown will have to win the last game to make sure of promotion No1 knows what the county board are liable to do

Don't think the Ulster council is going to listen to a proposal where two teams were fighting although Eire og should prob have got the two points... They could still go down of clonmore beat them

Don’t think there’s any dead rubbers on Wednesday with only 2 points separating 3rd and 7th and the unknown Eire Og-Forkhill situation to be factored in. All teams will be playing to win which is a great way to end the league.

Based on recent form it looks like Clonmore and one other going down, Ballyhegan or forkhill but no one on 13 points is mathematically safe yet. And if Clonmore can beat Eire Og they might yet survive.

If teams finish on same points how is it separated?

I think head to head is based on result only so if Shane’s and Middletown have won one game each it would go to their overall scoring difference. If this is the same then it goes to points scored.

But to be honest I’d expect Shane’s to beat Cross.

If Tullysaran beat Ballyhegan, Cross beat Shane’s and forkhill beat middletown then Tullysaran will be promoted. Would be some turnaround for a team that looked to be on their way down a few weeks ago.

Lot of ifs. I don't think so Middletown not a right bit ahead of tullysaran on score difference? Forkhill would need to hammer Middletown an tullysaran would need to hammer ballyheagen... Forkhill and Eire og could still have to be replayed seeing forkhill could still end up on 17 points... It's not apparently it's head to head aggregated scores and then score difference so Shane's have the title won

If Tullysaran win by 7 and Forkhill win by 7 that would do it. Not saying it’s going to happen just pointing out that Tullysaran can still be promoted which is a great turnaround for them.

If Shane’s have League won then the likelihood of cross and forkhill winning increases.

Eire Og v Clonmore is must win for both teams so everyone bar Shane’s has something to play for.

Plus finishing top half gives you a better chance in the championship.

Pity every division isn’t like 2b

Tullysaran currently in third place can actually still be promoted or relegated (albeit requiring Eire Og to win the appeal and then beat forkhill)
