I wouldn't imagine it's anything sinister if that's what is suggested as they had their semi finals in it on Wednesday evening past. I know it's been brought up here before, but as they're not an actual affiliated part of the GAA by their own decision, they have to hire facilities like any other organisation without their own. Maybe it's just not available for their selected dates.
As much as I would agree there should be promotion of the women's games, if they're not part of the organisation and don't pay dues etc. then they can't expect the top level of help. That sounds unfair, I'll be first to agree, but if a cafe is running a free tea day for pensioners, a twenty something can't demand the free tea because they will be a pensioner some day.
