Forum Upgrade

Due to our webhosts upgrading servers, we were forced this evening to upgrade the forum software. As the earlier used software was solid, we never felt the need to upgrade. Now that our hand was forced, the upgrade has been a fully substantial one and has removed some features in the mean time. Bear with us while we re-introduce these features.

Please report any issues here and hope you continue to enjoy using the forum.

I prefer the other face

Unfortunately we don't have any choice with this at present. The webhosts upgraded which meant that we also had to upgrade our forum software and use the new look we now have. It's plastic surgery for t'internet.

Might take bull and mustard ( the golden oldies) some time to get their head rounds it!

Old fashioned maybe, but I prefer the old format.
Q - how do you most quickly get to the latest post in each section?

It's not too bad I don't think, but then again I'm only a young whipper snapper ;)

Easy enough if you're a computer to get to the latest post (you haven't seen and a thread you follow). Just click on the wee bell symbol up in the right hand side of the top dark orange bar, beside where you see your name!

The longer way is to click on home and then go to a section that is in bold and then do the same with the thread/s under it. I'm on several of these forum type things for different interests so have gotten pretty used to it since about August.
