Forkhill are certs IMO. They've lost one game this year to ourselves that could have gone either way, Belleek have been hammered twice. Forkhills side of the draw had Eire og, noose, lissummon, cross and they've come through it whereas with all due respect Belleek haven't played anyone in the top half of the table. Hall, Sheridan, toner, Shannon, king will be too good

A valid point for yourself, hoping it’s as just as entertaining as last years junior final, was a joy to watch and I’ll be attending this year too with the same expectations. Forkhills experience will see them cross the winning line

Do you work for the sideline eye by any chance? o_O
Nope. Just seen enough of Belleek down the years to know what they have. Big physical team but limited really. Forkhill managed a better team than Belleek fairly well at the weekend and will win this championship with ease.

Doubt you’ve seen much of them lately then.

Derrynoose must be gutted. Not too far off. You’d think them two Lennon brothers would quit with that starch malarkey and make a come back . Maybe put a t shirt on while there at it

Have been on just reading the comments in recent week and can’t understand why some members have such dislike for Derrynoose. Why do we need to get personal with them about not playing a game when nobody knows the reasons they didn’t, as I understand they had a hurling game the same weekend in prep for senior championship. Okay they have a panel of 41. 20 played the football and had a few injuries from the game and going into the hurling they would have needed at least another 20. Most boys are dual so they made a call. Big deal. They along with Middletown, keady and killeavy are doing more for promoting all aspects of GAA than any other clubs in the county and deserve more credit for doing so.

Maybe we should take a trip to their club and see the fantastic job they are doing and the facilities they have got for a small junior club with ambitions to go further.

I watched them last week and yes they were beaten by the better team on the day but o don’t think they deserve some of the hate they get as last year the same people on this forum slagged them off for celebrating getting to a county final and decorating around the parish and club.

as for mentioning individual like the young fella Lennon I think you need to grow up. They both returned this year and having spoken to members of the club they both suffered injuries ruling them out for the season and who cares what kind of top the young fella wears.

some so called GAA men on here are a disgrace and know piss all about football. I wonder how many are actually still playing their trade and doing the pre seasons and work that all junior teams are to try and get out of the league.

I enjoy reading some things about the football but hate when there’s so much negativity around it or aimlessly aimed at teams or players. If they were professional I’d understand more but for boys out for the love of their clubs they aren’t interested in the shite talked by self satisfying idiots on this forum.

Not doing it to be sensible or a dry shite I’m all for having a bit of craic and debating/discussing the football I just don’t see why we have to put players or clubs down in the process or get personal with comments.

We’re all GAA men/women.

I'm not sure many have anything against Derrynoose tbh. People are more than entitled to express their opinion on a public forum however. Should another club forfeit a game for whatever reason or come up short two years in a row it would spark the same debate. Don't take it so personally

I think some people have an issue with forfeiting a match, with a panel of 40 odd for a warm up hurling match, not an actual championship match. I know other clubs who have not only lost the match points but also been docked 2 points for this on the past few years. Fair play to derrynoose for having a dual club, it's genuinely terrific to have that level of commitment but if you're committing to a league you should respect the integrity of that league as well in my opinion, particularly in what is a football county and secondly with a football team that everyone has been talking up as league favourites. Aside from that, I don't think anyone has a problem with derrynoose at all and tbh the comments on these Lennon fellas baffled me anyway lol.
