Competitive first half, between two closely matched teams. Solid performance from Duffy in particular, despite a very tight Roscommon defence. He will be disappointed he didn't take a shot on goal.
Just an observation, there does seem to be a considerable increase in opposition players feigning injury. Noticed it against Mayo aswel. Maybe im being paranoid, or maybe its an attempt to capitalise on our reputation for being "hard men". Refs would need eyes on the back of their heads.
Ruane for Mayo went down like he was shot in the closing minutes last week with an inferred head/neck injury. As soon as play resumed he jumped to his feet. Miraculous!Fermanagh were experts at it. A horrible sight that seems to be particularly prevalent in Connacht football. Not to say nobody else does it, but Galway were at it last year.
Watching the game with the gf and she has said this is worse than soccer.
I hate it. It's embarrassing and players should be called out for it. The only way to stop it happening. If you put in an honest tackle but it looks dirty the player gets slated. If a player acts injured without much contact nothing is said.Ruane for Mayo went down like he was shot in the closing minutes last week with an inferred head/neck injury. I just don't like it. If Armagh did it, it would wind me up aswel.
Should have laid it off Grugan( I think) was ready to bury itJason playing well but he's got to bury that. Turning point.
