Competitive first half, between two closely matched teams. Solid performance from Duffy in particular, despite a very tight Roscommon defence. He will be disappointed he didn't take a shot on goal.
Just an observation, there does seem to be a considerable increase in opposition players feigning injury. Noticed it against Mayo aswel. Maybe im being paranoid, or maybe its an attempt to capitalise on our reputation for being "hard men". Refs would need eyes on the back of their heads.

Fermanagh were experts at it. A horrible sight that seems to be particularly prevalent in Connacht football. Not to say nobody else does it, but Galway were at it last year.

Watching the game with the gf and she has said this is worse than soccer.

Ruane for Mayo went down like he was shot in the closing minutes last week with an inferred head/neck injury. As soon as play resumed he jumped to his feet. Miraculous!
I just don't like it. If Armagh did it, it would wind me up aswel.

Good first half we definitely competed better at kickouts than last game. We have been very patient which is good to see and looked like we where playing against the wind so hopefully can push on, Duffy and murnin played well for me also Conor O'Neill was good

Thought that was a good half against that wind. Quite controlled and patient, and restricting Roscommon mostly to long range points. They’ll not kick those in the second half. A few of those ‘simple’ edge of the D points for us too - the ones we supposedly don’t score often enough.

Still going out of it in the middle for spells, which is a concern. Some boys could do with changing their footwear too.

Duffy very prominent, but also a word on Hall who I felt has been very busy and effective.

It would be a worry if we weren’t able to press on and win comfortably enough with the wind advantage for the second half.

Lane is a weird ref. Feels like he misses an awful lot - for both teams.

I hate it. It's embarrassing and players should be called out for it. The only way to stop it happening. If you put in an honest tackle but it looks dirty the player gets slated. If a player acts injured without much contact nothing is said.

If you are going to play the game, then play it. Want to start diving so over the place then p1ss off and take up swimming.

Hall isn't playing great. Campbell is having a terrible day. Rian has hit the upright twice. The referee is shocking. We seem to have collapsed.
