Going to fairyhouse Saturday and staying over in kildare Town. I can't wait for the game tbh, really hope we can start with two points. Anyone know what the parking situation is in Newbridge?
My recollection is that it isn't great, I think we parked on the main street. However it's a while since we've been there, so maybe it has improved.
Sadly not great still. There is minimal parking beside the ground and it's just a nightmare to get away from. Street parking should be ok as it's Sunday but be down early. I'm gonna park before I get into town to try and get through the traffic out. There's a church and school before you get to the river about a five minute walk or so and you can usually use the church car park, but they have signs up saying only for church use if I remember right. Just don't park on any of the bus stops. The clampers are efficient and damn expensive on "visitors".

Just as a note for the drivers, I've heard a few times this week on RTE about road works on the M7 which I'm assuming are still on this weekend. Allow extra time for travelling.

afaik, Kildare are down to bare bones at the minute between withdrawals and injuries. Even with ourselves losing a few I fully expect the 2 points.

Looking at the league, would you fear anyone bar Donegal? And bearing in mind they will be hampered by the club championship. I genuinely think we have a serious shout for promotion, especially considering we have what I would deem our closest challengers being geographically so far away and having to travel up. I'm confident we have the firepower to win games at this level rather than scrape through.
Go on you good thing. You and @Diarmi may get cheerleader outfits. #goosebumpsbutinagoodway :D

Roadworks from Naas both directions for circa 10 miles. speed limit of 60 km/H with a number of speed vans operating in both directions.
You've been warned !!

Cheers for that. Didn't know about the vans. Must get the handbrake working.

Shields for mccaughley only change from last week.

Disappointed not to have forker, burns and a few others available. Not as confident as I was a week or two ago. Feely is a big player for them in midfield and I don't see us with many options off the bench for that area with o.oneill and rafferty injured. Is crealey injured?

Best of luck to players and management
