Jesus. That was one of the frustrating games I’ve ever watched. Honestly think we were way the better side. What the hell was the free count. Our discipline was that bad In the first half That I think the ref just started giving them frees for
Every tackle we made. Vast majority of their scoring frees seemed to be for nothing.

Next week we will be without Morgan Campbell and most
Likely Sheridan as he will get a deserved ban. I’m sorry but there are so many players on that team need a shake up. I’ve written this before but my god how does Connaire Mackin play every single
Game. He contributes more or less zero. If we had any belief in ourselves at all there we win that game.

Discipline discipline discipline. We simply dont have it.

Donegal v negative and cynical. Endless lying down, referee allowed them. Big second half performance to hold the game to a point but that was very much helped by Donegal’s negative approach and poor shooting. First half with a gale at your back... why did we stand off and allow them so much possession? Should have pressed so high and made it so difficult to get the ball out. I really think this was poor game management. Incredibly Donegal dropped back too and made exactly the same mistake we made which kept us in the game.
To be honest, I had us down for losing this one but disappointing none the less. Rian O’Neill hit some class score but Ethan had a huge return from injury.

You couldn’t like that Donegal team at all. Tyrone were the divers but Donegal are worse. People saying Morgan got the red for a stamp? That will be rescinded surely tho Sheridan May be in trouble.

Sheridan May be in trouble.

No ‘may’ about it, Stephen Sheridan’s stamp was an absolute disgrace and he’ll be banned and rightly so. If he avoids a ban somehow Armagh should set an example and internally discipline him.

I know he’s one of our own but I can’t remember when any Armagh player committed a worse act in the county jersey. Very disappointing.

No one has yet mentioned the punch in the chest Stephen Sheridan took from the Donegal number 8, Hugh McFadden. He was at it at all night, pushing & shoving & also played a part in the melee, yet no card!!!
Also how did the player who put in the dangerous tackle on Jemar walk away with no card, unbelievable.

Donegal appear to have been watching Tyrone matches on repeat given the diving they put on show tonight. Our supporters can talk about our lack of discipline but seriously every time a Donegal player was touched he went down like a felled tree & appeared to be trying to get our players booked & most times it worked. I'm sorry but to me that is just cheating, plain & simple. We can wrap it up in words like "cute hoors" & "playing the ref" but it still comes back to cheating. We & the rest of the country have watched Tyrone do this for YEARS & now other teams are following in their footsteps, the GAA need to crack down on this, it is so frustrating to watch.

Also at one point the referee had blown for a midfield mark towards the sideline closest to the stand before the Donegal player had caught the ball. He didn't win the ball it came off his knee & went over the line. The referee laughed at his own error & hopped the ball. The standard of refereeing I have seen thus far in our league campaign really makes me question what referee assessors actually do!!!!

Hard to be sure of his intention but could easily have broken Eoghan Gallagher’s leg when clearly stamped on him.

The Twitter post I saw doesn't look good but you don't see who player is or were he was looking. On that evidence a ban would be deserved.

Agree with much of this. I also got annoyed at the goading after the Donegal goal.

Anyone any idea why Armagh goal was disallowed.

Someone initially said square ball & then I heard that the referee had already blown for a free out, so in reality who knows.

Back in 2007 at the Championship game in Ballybofey we were subjected to Donegal supporters calling Stevie McD a "gypsy bastard", some of them did little to improve my opinion of them tonight.

Also to whomever invented the bagpipes :mad::mad:

I said earlier you couldn’t like that Donegal team. Couldn’t like their fans either.
Very disappointed in Sheridan. Seen it a few times now and there’s no doubt in my mind it was deliberate.

Can't remember ever disagreeing with you, but on this point I can't agree. We didn't even touch them most of the time.
