The owners, admin, moderators and content creators have set up the web domain and Forum now known as orchardfans.com to keep fans and supporters of Armagh games and events up to date with events throughout the county and indeed the country. We're also giving the opportunity to voice opinions and express delight and concerns on matters which are decided by the membership (users, posters, browsers) by having to create a free account and sign in to comment. We may make browsing private by consent of current users, but that will be by consent.
Should any member find themselves unable to login or get on to the forum for whatever reason, you can send us a message by email at orchardfans.com@gmail.com It's the same email address that notifications will come to you at and we advise you add this address to your safe email addresses in your preferred email account. Please also make sure the email address you supply when signing up to our service is valid so we may contact you in the case of any problems with our service.
As a free service we maintain control and as such we will produce a set of rules (although we prefer to call it advice on conduct), typical of any club membership. We are drafting these at present using versions we have seen on similar outlets and adapting them to suit our needs
Our mission is to help promote good conduct in discussion and a fair & safe place to engage.
We promise not to engage in a public slanging with you. Your points and opinions matter.
We promise that we will not ban a genuine user just because we don't agree with what someone says. Every opinion differs. If we feel your content does not fit with our ethos we will send you a private message in the first place and tell you why we don't think it's appropriate giving you 24 hours to reply and let us know why we are wrong. Your right to post might be suspended during this time, but you will not be banned.
We promise to monitor the forum as much as possible and any totally inappropriate content will be moderated or removed as quickly as possible - spam will happen, but we'll act on it as quickly as possible.
We promise to act on any reports as timely and professionally as we can. We will give each one a personal reply. If you feel you need to make a report, please also PM @Admin1 or @Admin2
We promise that you may also be able to pull us into line if we overstep the mark. This is a club that we have created for you, our members/users. Without your participation and interaction we will simply become irrelevant and pass into oblivion. Just because we own and run the Site and Forum, doesn't mean we are always correct.
We promise we will do all we can to avoid copyright and trademark infringement. We are not endorsed or affiliated to any organisation or brand although sponsorship is welcome. PM with ideas.
