I see them as the Leinster equivalent of Fermanagh - limited but well organized and defensively set up. I hope I'm wrong, but the Fermanagh game means for me suggests the portents are not good. I'd have much preferred them at home if I'm honest.

Not an easy game. The league game earlier this year was a good game of football and Armagh 's best display. Rafferty had a great game. He will need to again. I assume Grimley will be suspended.

Could have been worse or better.

Good opportunity to get back on the horse and get motoring again. If we're not beating Westmeath, then we don't deserve to have two feet in the round hat thing.

Would have preferred westmeath at home. Could be a tricky enough game. Think westmeath will be out to prove something. Quick question are we still boycotting westmeath local establishment. Wouldnt want to spend my money and accused of any bad behaviour

Yes @Calm1 is going to see up the orange tent were we can gather , it will be supplied with Buckfast , Mad Dog , Tayto ( the Yellow Protestant version) and Irwin’s bread , Soda Bread , Cookstown Sausages and Punjana tea.Its possible we may be able to dig out some Maine lemonade just this is stil under negotation .

If all patrons could car pool or arrive by mini bus you will be given a sticker that says ‘Aggresive Nordie’ that will distinguish you from the civilized locals .

BTW horrible draw being in Div 3 you would have half hoped to get a div 2 team so we would get a home draw , the price of 1/2 Armagh is crazy .

I agree with the sentiment about squad depletion, but constant drying about the way the system affects you?? We're not exactly blessed with large numbers of talented players to close from and many a thing can be levelled at geezer, rightly or wrongly, but he doesn't run crying and complaining constantly about being downtrodden! He gets on with it, accepts what he can and makes the best of the hand he has - not open to discuss as it's just an opinion!!

Eh, how the hell did you get all the details so quickly?..........................wait a minute!! I knew having @ragingbull as secretary of the organising committee would end in tears. So much for a secret surprise! Can'y hold his water! All we need now is @PatMustard to announce that Maine negotiations have broken down! May as well do the rest in public now! @Ard Mhacha 13 have you the loud "come on armagh" banners sorted and what about the "tent" entertainment @portadownarmaghfan ??

Rafferty was given the curly finger last time out after one of his (of many) hopeless miracle kicks towards the goals. Wouldn’t be surprised if Geezer made the point of giving him the bench.

Watching the game back, I got very frustrated at the selfishness of some players v Fermanagh. To me, rafferty is the perfect example of it
