Madness that the senior championship winners have 1 player on the club all stars and arguably one of the top 3 forwards in the county on the bench. What does Cian McConville have to do to get a chance!

I think you'll see that there's a difference between the club all star team that was announced at the awards night and that which has been named for the game.
There's no cullyhanna players, for obvious reasons, perhaps some are injured, holidays, working etc

Me thinks you're reading far too much into this but your statement about top three forward is a bit too far. Top ten at best and that's pushing it

Quite simply- not good enough this year. If his name was not McConville there would not be any discussion

At the end of the day it’s a charity game, a chance for young kids to meet county players and a chance for lads who’ve maybe been knocking around the county panel for a while to get a run out in the Athletic grounds in front of a good crowd. Wouldn’t read to much into who’s starting and who’s not.

Who better? Rían hasn’t had a good game since Galway in 22. Andy Murnin I’d have no1. But not much more.

Strange naming, the club all stars are mostly county players or members of the extended panel. How many players involved that aren’t part of the extended panel?

Bar the Clanns and Cross lads and McCormack from Ballyhegan I don’t think anyone on the “club” all star team had an outstanding championship.

Looks to be more lads who’ve been knocking on the door of the county team like Kierans/Callum O’Neill or have played previously coming back from injury like Oisin O’Neill/Shields/O’Hanlon/TK.

you can't judge players off that game for to be called up to the county panel
