Two points

Games in every county are organised by the CCC and no one else

Minor red card - depends on the offence
Is the CCC autonomous from the county board? Or is it a sub-committee made up of members of the county board?

Sorry I’m just curious about the distinction, I’ve seen this said before and I’m not sure why.

CCC set fixtures, hand out suspensions etc
They are autonomous in so far as all our games start from this committee.
Any outside interference would be against the official guide hence you have a hearings committee within a county as well

The full county committee has no bearing on the workings of the CCC and it shouldn't either.
The official guide gives more detail

Generally a red card sanction is for 1 or more games in the same competition at the same level, eg striking in a minor championship game is a one match in the next minor championship game and would not affect playing senior.

Unless the offence was particularly serious and a number of weeks suspension issued that would apply to all codes and all levels.

What’s everyone’s predictions for this weekends games ?

I think itll be straight forward wins for the nab clan na Gael the bridge and the harps

Couple of good intermediate games though

Think the nab, clans and the bridge will come through ok, wouldn't be confident on the harps, that one could go either way

Couple of good intermediate games though
Ballymacnab v Sarsfield’s
Nab just the better side. There’s goals in both teams but Nabs better overall quality should see them through. Would be a major shock for Sarsfield’s to win this.

Clan na Gael v Dromintee
Don’t think this will be as straight forward as some might think but still expect Clans to come out winners.

St Peter’s v Harps
Both teams shipped heavy defeats in the group stage - not the mark of genuine contenders. I think it will be closer than some people might think but Harps experience will see them through.

Silverbridge v Granemore
Granemore missing a few from the team that reached last years final, Silverbridge have been free-scoring all year. I would be shocked by anything other than a bridge victory.

Heard the clans minors can’t play tomorrow due to a 2 day rule with the final on Monday night ? Joke if true
One of the biggest issues with social media platforms is the complete and utter avoidance of verifying 'heard' information.
Do a little research first, if the info you 'heard' is true quote the rule. Do a Google for gaa official guide and when you find the rule let us know

Don't be such a wet lettuce.
Some of us like to hear rumours etc - we don't always have to quote specific rules for every topic raised.

To be fair if that is the rule it is in the long term interest of the young fellas. If science says that is the best for them it should be enforced. Clanns won't be the only team affected.

I could also add. Are Clanns better in the long term letting these young fellas play a minor final they have a good chance of winning rest properly before the final or having them play a senior championship match a few days before that final. Have Clanns a 50:50 chance of winning the senior championship?

Nab won handy tonight. But Derrynoose, what is going on over there? How are they beating 2A teams when they were only a mid table 2B team? Seen the twitter at 1.4-0.2 and just put on the rugby, but when I looked back half an hour later I had to scratch my eyes. Fair play to them
