Your first goal was the killer. Just before half time. 3 points in it. We were in a good position and should have cut the gap to two. Instead we pissed about with it, lost it, you broke and your guy smashed the ball home. 6 points in it. Game over.

Yeah I was talking to a CE lad at half time and he was saying he was worried about the second half. The problem CE are facing is that too many lads are heroes at 15 and think they’re the next superstar and by the time they hit 20 then the other lads have caught up with them. The transition from underage to senior is a huge step and without the right set up lads are lost. That’s the big advantage we have over most teams as there’s a clear pathway and young lads don’t get beyond their place too early on.

Agreed. Some of our lads were trying too much. I still have high hopes for a few of them, especially McCambridge the number 6. Your no 13 was very good I thought. Mel someone

13 is Mel Boyce. He has talent and has played well on a number of occasions but he also has a tendency to blow cold as well. He can be a very good player and has been more consistent.

Young McCambridge has potential. I’ve seen him a lot since underage too as he is the age of our good minor team which I’ve followed since Feile age. Young Turbitt too has great ability. Lovely striker of the ball in space and will be a very good player as he physically develops

Crossmaglen have to win Armagh & ulster firsto_O
They’ll walk Armagh. They’ve an easy group, the Nab will maybe give them a game but won’t beat them, they’ll hammer the Sarsfield’s. Can’t see anyone from the other groups challenging them.

CE probably also lack the mixture of a few experienced men alongside the younger ones. Ie someone to keep them grounded and lead them. Mc Cambridge will be a good one and he has a decent attitude. At 1/2 Cross were printing money.

Agree with this. Losing Henderson, leathem, bell and McKenna was a big loss. Had they stayed on I think we would have gone up. They wouldn’t have changed the result yesterday but the score line may have been different

He is but he should still be playing too. Not for the ladies obviously.
Shea is still there and do you mean Turbitt? TK is a good player. Tried to do too much at times tho

Stephen Kernan said two years ago "Cian is the best underage age footballer we've had coming through in years." Some compliment when you think Rian and Oisin are only out of underage.
