Most people's 15 is pretty similar to the 15 you named earlier in the thread. With the exception of McQuillan and Grimley most other posters have the same names in their team.

So majority of teams named are similar to yours but you say they wouldn't get into the Derry squad. But you still think we have a very good squad. Bit of a contradiction there surely.

The next two games are a waste time so we will just tell Fermanagh and Antrim/Down we will get a bye into the final.

I agree we should be winning both games without entering top gear. But that is because we are superior team to them so what are we meant to do. Dublin and Kerry do the same most years and doesn't have a detrimental effect on them.

P.S check the dictionary that is not the definition of insanity
Should be winning those games well, but if we go into a game against Fermanagh or Down with a half arsed attitude they’ll rip us to bits. Look at some of the upsets at the weekend. Confident we’ll get the job done though.

Agree. The weekend showed there can be upsets. Can I see Fermanagh causing an upset against us. Probably not but come Sunday evening I may be looking foolish.

Think Down will give us a bigger test than they did last year. But would still be confident of beating them.

You realise one player is not soley responsible for a loss/win? I trust Philly's judgement more than your own. Beggan is a class act - one of the best GAA goalkeepers ever and would be a shoe in on any team in the country at the moment.
Philly overlooked a forward who scored 1-9. It was clear to anyone watching that Beggan was rusty. If he hadn’t been over at the nfl trials he wouldn’t have gotten MOTM

Made an unreal save and kicked couple of good points, but Lynch was definitely MOTM. In fairness McMahon gave him it before Lynchs goal although it was still the wrong call at that stage.

one player is not soley responsible for a loss/win,but one player can make all the difference if Marsden had of got staying on in the 2003 All Ireland final Armagh could might have won the thing

Also he should try looking up the word "ur", I think he may have some difficulty in finding it

Tell me you're deluded, without telling me you're deluded....... those 14 other players have no responsibility for goals conceded  Talking about dropping blaine for ethan, Beggan is lightyears ahead of both. How about some proper stats of shots faced v goals conceded? No, it's easier to take a lazy swipe.
What’s delusional about stating a fact. Never disagreed with you he was one of the best. However he was way too far off his line for the first goal, beat on his near side for the second and caught out of goals for the third. All well and good kicking scores up the top but if you’re gunna let 3 goals in other end you’re more of liability than an asset to the team. Not a MOTM performance.

Maybe don’t take cheap shots when you misinterpret someone……

Because conceding goals is all down to one player??? He would start in any team in the country at the moment, NFL or not. Monaghan struggled all league with the sub goalkeeper. Beggan was not the reason Monaghan lost.

Clear to you maybe. And that forward scored 0-9 when the award was given. Doesn’t take away from the fact that Beggan was not the reason Monaghan lost to Cavan

I know the quote and didnt misinterpret the post all. But the quote was even quoted correctly.

Note that the post has now been edited once they realised they couldn't even use the quote correctly in their argument.

Lucky enough you seen in my reply to the post what was originally quoted. But sure that's just pretend I misinterpreted the post

And in the original post there was plenty of cheap shots made by them at other users, players and management

But sure let's just let sleeping cats lie ;)

I know the quote. Which the original poster misquoted.

Wasn't a cheap shot just a fact.

Seriously, grasping at straws there. Not word for word but the meaning is relatively the same. Everyone’s entitled to opinions positive or negative - what’s the saying? They’re like a**holes, everyone has one. But when you get personal and nitty gritty you lose the argument.
