Losing big leads is getting beyond a joke now. From the first 3 minutes the team looked like they had lost interest and that really costs us.

There's no doubt that we collectively switch off - start of 2nd half and after Aiden's point at end. Thank god for Riain's boot. A lot of men have better performances in them.

Do you ever say anything positive? 6 posts during the match and not a positive thing to say

Do you disagree with any of the points - tackling and discipline? I found very little to take from today bar the result and couple of men really standing up - Forker for example. Keeper good and full back line did fairly well

Celtic park is a hard pitch to get a result in. This was always gonna be a game of 2 halves pardon the expression. Wind down the field into the scoring goals, I would have preferred to be playing into the dressing rooms i the second half.

Good win, a few lads made their debut. Jamie looking a bit sharper. O Neill’s and Grugan scoring crucial scores at crucial times.

No goals against and Hughes was solid with his kick outs.

2 weeks for Grimley and all to get to full fitness. Free hit against Donegal now. Anything now is bonus territory

Look folks a trip to Derry under Gallagher was never going to ne vintage. We won by 2 points and played with 14 men at a crucial point of the second half. Normally I criticise our tackling. Today there were a few bad tackles but I felt there were also a few soft decisions against us. Bad wind out there, we won by 2 points. Few more positives than negatives for me. Derry are better than a division 3 team. Thats a decent win. We tend to up our game against slightly better opposition. So we have a shot to nothing against donegal.

There were more positives to take than that

I did want to add to my other post but internet switched off

Grugan just puts his head down and gets on with it. I probably miss it but I think he need to be more vocal on the pitch. He needs to tell players to shut up, put there head down and get working. I don't think Kennedy put a foot wrong in that game and needs to do the same every week.

Burns looks off pace and hopefully this game will bring him on a bit.

Other than switching off in the second half it is difficult to criticise the team in crap conditions. Jamie Clarke rightly black carded but shouldn't have made that tackle. The team dug deep and showed a bit of character but next week is going to be a defining moment for this team.

Referee was alright still some inconsistencies in refereeing

Niall, if I choose to point out issues that have plagued this team for years, then I will. I don't need your opinion or approval on how I post (admin look after that) but feel free to comment on what I post.

Calm down lads - enjoy the victory. There are a lot of positives and still things we need to work on. There is still a problem with our 70+ minute mentality that needs to be fixed. Armagh are a game away from the Ulster final, Tyrone are out - smile - enjoy. Enjoy the small victories in such shite times.

Everyone knows the issues the team has, and has had for a long time. Would it hurt you to point out positives from the game? Especially the first half?
Oh, and thanks for giving me permission to comment

Let’s acknowledge that the conditions were very poor. That the game was always going to be a game of two halves.
There are so many positives:
1. We won
2. Players getting championship experience
3. A few leaders coming to the fore, esp Forker and Grugan
4. Some quality shooting
5. Kennedy perhaps going to fill a problem position for us going forward.
6. Room for improvement

What age is Kennedy?

A win is a win - tough conditions and Derry at home were never going to be easy. However, Derry are limited and yet we only win by 2 points.
I think there is more to get out of some players eg Jarly, Oisin and maybe Soupy. Will need top performances from many to topple Donegal.

That's a tad negative there pointman.. I joke, I joke Niall!lol

Good win overall.
