I think some need to calm down
This was not a GAA decision but NPHET
The problem is the lack of clarity at the time of the decision being made public.
I see the county u17 manager giving out about it and being involved in a discussion about u17
During this pandemic there will be very few happy with any decision that is being made. I don't agree with level 5 in the South, I think all sports should continue
I can't stop the assholes partying, bars that completely ignored social distancing and I can't help those who refuse to test, refuse to isolate
The reason we are back where we are is because the noose was loosened and most got carried away.
The GAA got a lot right and clubs did huge work during the first lockdown
However we now a clear vision and leadership
I read and hear that the club is the main focus now after all the games that have been played
Remember there were no stag dos, no weddings, funerals that couldn't be attended no holidays
So games were played quickly
In a normal year all the aforementioned happen
Noone wants to make a decision but everyone will have an opinion on it when it's made

Think a wise though hard decision to pull u17 and u20
These groups are very exposed through schools and colleges. To add to that matches and trainings (often needing a parent or relative to drive them) and they have enormous social groups.

also unfair to expect a winning team to not celebrate - and from what I’ve said above and what we have seen here and elsewhere, that is not a good combination

Very nervous about next week to be honest after today - Derry are very capable of springing an ambush.

Totally agree with you. Derry won't be an easy team to beat. It will be a game even the neutrals will be expecting us to win due to the differences in our divisions - however definitely is the potential for an upset if we aren't at the top of our game.

Feel feel we are missing a steady head in defence for next week. Donaghy not playing last 2 weeks shows a huge gap....wonder if Charlie is training for a come back.......
