Got caught in traffic going to Clones in 1992. Ended up missing the whole minor match.

No snapbook or Googly in those days. Entered the ground and had to ask a young Armagh fan watching the early stages of the senior match, who had won the minor match.

That was a frustrating afternoon. The aul fella was going berserk.

We definitely played antrim in casement in the 2003 it may have been a back door game

That was in 2003. We won 0-15 to 0-12.

Was no back door in 2000. Health and Safety regulations changed in 2001, and one was fitted.

It’s been the 1980’s since we played Antrim in Ulster championship though.

I meant in the 2000, I thought you were on about the whole championship

Armagh haven’t played Antrim in the Ulster championship in donkeys years.

1980, going to Ulster Final, crammed into the back seat of the car for what seemed ages on a warm sunny day. Eventually got parked, got out and took a big stretch and yawn, and swallowed a giant blue bottle fly that flew straight into my mouth. We won that day, but since then everytime we play the Goblins, I get a bad taste in my mouth.
