Just came into my head for an interesting topic.
Sometimes, rightly or wrongly, fairly or unfairly, a player can be remembered for one moment above anything else they did.
Here’s a few:
Denis Hollywood - two goals v Fermanagh in 1993 that started that comeback.
Ryan Henderson - 4 goals against Wexford.
Oisin McConville - his goal in the 2002 AI final.
Bill McCorry - missing that penalty in 1953.
Diarmuid Marsden - unfairly dismissed in 2003 final.
Joe Kernan - controversially dropped for the 1987 Ulster final.
Vinny Loughran - sent off in the 1987 Ulster final.
