True but statistically 1 player would infect less than 1 teammate. And a further overwhelming likelihood is that neither would know as they would "most likely" be asymptomatic. Time to manage this thing rather than stop because of it. In the last 7 months less than 150 people in the 6 counties have died of this thing outside of care homes, it can further be argued that certain "covid deaths" aren't related, I know of someone who banged their head and tragically died and got put down as a covid death.
Leo varadkar has said all recent deaths have been put down as covid regards of cause, nick Hancock has said 1000s of positive tests have been double counted, as well as deaths being counted as covid despite the positive test being over 28 days old, the media are now reporting deaths "with covid" rather than "covid deaths" and numerous medics have said medical misunderstanding the virus actually exacerbated symptoms in early cases causing the initial panic. A guy I was speaking to today was one of the early cases, got told he had a 33% chance of survival and pumped full of drugs, when he woke up he was hallucinating so badly he thought he was on a war camp and refused treatment as he thought it was poison, absolute madness. Thankfully we know more now and it's clear that it's far more manageable with certain proteins than initially thought. Look at the numbers and they are tiny.
Additionally, I'm not a crank, myself and Mrs eireogatron have 3 parents in the 1% "at risk" yet despite 1 testing (asymptomatic) positive, his wife who has massive lung and asthma problems was fine, despite the fact they were isolated together for 2 weeks.
People will test positive, pubs cafes offices trains buses etc are open, time to manage rather than react.
