Great honour and privilege for the county to host this year's Ulster Final today
It's a unique final played without spectators present and the fact that once it's over all four provincial finals will have been completed shows that amidst this pandemic sport can be played and is bringing a touch of normality into people's lives
The presentation made last night remembering the 100 events of 100yrs ago in croke park will no doubt evoke memories for those who remember the blanket protests in the Athletic grounds in years gone by. We should embrace what the GAA means for us and remember those who struggled to ensure our games could take place freely here in the north.
Well done to all involved in getting the final in Armagh and to those who have, no doubtedly, worked tirelessly to ensure the playing surface is in top order

Donegal clearly allowed to tackle on the limits here without any cards or frees against. Cassidy been very very poor so far here.
Donegal very good at influencing referees. I still feel they got all the 50:50 decisions against Armagh.

Two black cards have been criminal. Cassidy is a balloon. He jas hamstrung cavan something shocking

Cavan beat that donegal team with 14 men for 20 mins. That shows where we are. I said before we played donegal that i didnt rate them that highly. We are a long long long way off.

Tipp beat Dublin in the final that year too, what would be the chances of a repeat?

That Donegal team beat Tyrone and finished well in the league
They are a genuine top class team
Cavan were well up for it today
Donegal looked sluggish today but goes to show what happens when you have the energy and get in the face of the opponent
Donegal obviously had all eyes on the Dublin game and forgot to win today.
Fair play to Cavan they fully deserved it

That 1920 final wasn’t played until 1922.
Hopefully we won’t have to wait that long, but hopefully Cavan will be there.

The 2nd black card was for a'push' - wasn't even worthy of a yellow. The first black was harsh ' it was accidental, but McHugh screamed and the referee was conned.
Cavan won despite the ref who was harsh on them all through.

Also have to say now that Donegal have exited, Micheal Murphy had little to none noticeable influence over his 3 championships games this year even against ourselves when we were routed he didn’t look good. Think it’s time for pundits to stop talking about him like he’s still one of best in the country.
