Kerry dont come out until finals , mayo normally have good support not sure if they will travel in big numbers this time but cork footballers are poorly supportered they will be the boy with the hat id say and thats itOurselves, Mayo and Kerry will probably all take huge support (us especially)
Derry will take loads as well I’d imagine. Not sure about Clare given distance and the fact a lot of them will have days in Dublin with the hurlers to come. Dubs and Cork? Match result is a foregone conclusion not sure if huge numbers from Cork will come up the road for it.
Kerry don’t usually attend QFs, or semis. It’s a hell of a drive for them. Mayo will bring good support. Not sure about Galway.Ourselves, Mayo and Kerry will probably all take huge support (us especially)

Kerry people don’t usually appear til later on but Mayo is really a big draw for them surely.Kerry don’t usually attend QFs, or semis. It’s a hell of a drive for them. Mayo will bring good support. Not sure about Galway.
Totally agree Pat.Stay at home and boo him then.
If roles were reversed, and Rian was booed and missed a crucial kick, we’d all be disgusted.
Happens most years the teams that get beat in the finals have a very poor record in the last round of qualifers.Interesting fact - All beaten provincial finalists lost this year the next week out. Coincidence or does it show the impact of momentum in the championship?
I’ve seen the “chanting” creep into some of the club games around the county too, like the inter county scene it only seems to happen in the more well attended championships games as opposed to league games. Don’t think there is much that can be done about it, some of its soccer culture creeping in due to it having greater tv coverage week in week out throughout the year another is many are drinking on buses and in pubs on the way down which you typically don’t get as much of in league games. As long as there not acting like thugs starting fights all Armagh support should be welcomed.Totally agree Pat.
It's not only the booing. The cheering every pass, chants etc. It's not a part of our game. It's a soccer culture to do those things.
At the end of the day the most important thing is the team winning but I don't like this 'new noise'.
I actually remember walking out of Clones in the '99 after the semi final against Derry. That day the booing of Tohill every time he took a 45 was wrong. It wasn't a small minority. I wasn't the oldest at the time but still didn't like it one bit.
But as I've said it's not just booing. Chants and cheering every pass is far too 'soccer like' for me. I'm old fashioned and love the tradition of the GAA - the way supporters behave (and the manner in which the masses are heard) is a large part of that.
As for the game the other day. James Morgan, Conor O'Neill, Aaron McKay, Jarly Og Burns, Jason Duffy, Rory Grugan all stood out. But Rian O'Neill was immense and at crucial times. He's just one of those players - when on song we can beat anybody. It's a team effort but you need that class act.
Galway and Armagh has the makings of a fantastic game. The Connaught final was a joy to watch during a weekend where the other 3 provincial finals were far from good advertisements.
Contrary to quite a few on here I'd have loved to have got Derry. In the big space of Croke Park I think we would exploit Derry. Hopefully we get to do so in an All-Ireland semi final.
Absolutely delighted for Geezer. The man deserves it and lets hope our journey has plenty of legs left yet.
I think the fact Galway will be fresh and coming off a win will add a different dynamic compared to the Donegal and Tyrone games, they won’t lie down as easy, expect the game to be in the melting pot into the dying minutes.Happens most years the teams that get beat in the finals have a very poor record in the last round of qualifers.
Fair enough i do remember the Derry match again i say we had a 3:1 spilt in the crowd.... that was a big stand to take walking out .Totally agree Pat.
