I'm not stupid, I know that but he needs to go. Can you defend this league campaign? Because if you can then you and the other yes men are part of the problem. He’s here until the season is over regardless. So yeah needless.
Draw with Mayo in Armagh, Lose to Kerry by 1pt in Tralee, lose to Galway after an unlucky goal at 70 minutes.
Fine margins. That's what it comes down to. Not good enough when we needed to be over the course of the league. But people here have very very short memories.
Not 4/5 weeks ago it was 'how nice would it be to relegate them'uns in the last game of the season'. And talk of a league final after losing to Kerry by a single point.
Dublin and Derry for Div 1 next year. Certainly took no hurt with a year in D2 and all would be forgiven very quickly after a decent championship campaign.
Maybe just hold fire on the angry commentary til the dust has settled.
Antrim Saturday fortnight, that's the focus now.

So who's your Lord and saviour to bring us further?I'm not stupid, I know that but he needs to go. Can you defend this league campaign? Because if you can then you and the other yes men are part of the problem.
Well then tell me your thoughts on this league campaign.yes men. Catch yourself on
I’d say 80% management 20% injuries. Can’t blame the players for playing poorly when they’re set up in a negative style that doesn’t suit them. Management has persisted with the same subs/ replacements who aren’t good enough, when there are alternatives on the bench. If anything, the only good parts of the campaign were when the players had to scramble to get a result and ditch the negative tactics. While today was overall a better performance - you don’t get relegated by accident. Awful campaign and I have to say it’s down to how the team were set up and how they performed 60% management 40% players. Very disappointing that since McGeeney has been in charge whenever we have a ‘promising’ year we follow it up with a poor year.
Ach wise up will you. The fact is McGeeney is not good enough. He has been there for 9 years and done nothing. So who's your Lord and saviour to bring us further?
If you've an issue with the current management that's all well and good but there are plenty of supporters and knowledge football folk that believe the current men on the line are right for the job.
The squad is not as strong as other counties and that's the crux of it. Just because we got to an AI QF last year doesn't give us the god given right to be the best about.
Who said I didn't understand it?I think your comment was needless. What part of that didnt you understand
BullshitSo who's your Lord and saviour to bring us further?

We can absolutely talk about what ifs, that's my point. What if we won against Galway last year. We'd have been in an AI Final potentially. But we didn't. Similar to the above results. Can talk about the what-ifs all we want. We are not progressing, it has been evident the whole league campaign.
We are a middling D2 team.
You have your opinion and I have mine. It's a forum, not a Dictatorship pal.Bullshit
Very poor. I think we have regressed and I think McGeeney should go. But he will be here until the end of the season regardless of what I, you or anyone else thinksWell then tell me your thoughts on this league campaign.
I suppose with an attitude like that you would be happy with the current management. We should have beaten Galway, Kerry and Roscommon bit didn't because of terrible tactics on the line. Never mind the fine margins, the margins were massive all through the league. Today we actually played well, had we played like this all year we would not be in the position we are. We played open attacking football but it was too late. We were not relegated today, it happened against the three teams above. We can absolutely talk about what ifs, that's my point. What if we won against Galway last year. We'd have been in an AI Final potentially. But we didn't. Similar to the above results.
Whether we're a D2 team or not is not the fault of management or coaching. It's that we just aren't good enough to compete at D1 level and I don't see who has the magic wand to come in and make us contenders.
We have over achieved with what we have the last 2 years and that's a bonus. We've went from D3 to D1. Look at our neighbours in Down as an example of how the other trajectory can be.
And above all else, yet to be a ball kicked in the championship in 2023.
Be careful, Niall.A good performance to bring into championship.
Four defeats by a combined tally of seven points I think so no need to panic. Would be nice to get into the habit of winning tight games though.
The usual similar OTT crying last week that we saw after Ballybofey last year.
Think we can have a big say in the championship yet.
