did anyone see kildare manager on rte news ?
they might not but their county boards will have the final sayI'm not sure fans in those 3 counties would be happy going all that way to Dublin.
Fair play to him. Watch the at 9 if missed. Clear message to top brass!did anyone see kildare manager on rte news ?
On the other hand would the Athletic Grounds be fit to hold the Cavan/ Tyrone game as part as a double header with ours? It does hold 18,500 people after all.
If I remember right it stated somewhere that there would be two extra periods of 10 minutes, then the two by 5 minutes then the 33m shoot out until there is a winner. Only semi-final and final will to a replay if level after 20 minutes of extra time. I think!!@Berfaboy77 you're right. The suits don't give a frig about supporters. It's all about the money, especially the super 8s with the big guns.
By the way, if there is a draw this weekend in one of the qualifiers, there will be extra time. What if it's still level? Penalties? Rock Paper Scissors?
In all honesty folks, do you really think our county board would allow tyrone to play at the AG at the minute with all the bad blood between them over the U20 debacle? It was bad enough that we had to contend with player sanctions, but those prats trying to get the game replayed because [among other things] THEY played too many subs. I can understand a financial reward, but that would be a kick in the O'Neill's!Fair play to the Kildare management and players for taking a stand and thinking of there supporters. Croke Park have no other choice but to move the game back to Kildare.

Pablo it really wasn't a great game and "very flat and lethargic" would a perfect description for the entire game to be honest. It was really warm too and I got the impression we were pacing. Seemed to score when they did and react to them all the way through the first half. Start of the second was a little more frantic and when Rory got the goal we relaxed again, but took better scores than them with our defence working really well with the exception of the goal. Again to be honest, the ref could/should have awarded a free out at that point, but overall, I think for a tyronie, he handled the game quite well, letting most 50/50 stuff slide and players played the game.Listened to the Sligo game, alternating between Ocean FM and Radio Ulster. Fair dues to our fans who travel and make great noise in support of the team. Proud that we have a great and loyal travelling support.
Both sets of commentators noted that Armagh seemed to start very flat and lethargic. Certainly for most of the first half, it sounded like Sligo were going toe to toe with Armagh and maybe even made the better start. Maybe those posters who attended can verify if this was the case? I've noticed a few times that Armagh often seem very lethargic during the first quarter of so of games and often wondered why such low key starts.
Good to see Sheirdan back-really strengthens the backbone of that team. Grimley must start.
Gavin McParland?

Realistically how many will go to that? 5/600 maybe?Already a double header in Armagh with antrim v kildare in a hurling game at 12:45
Yeah but "moronic imbeciles" needs to be kept for another day!Couldn't have said it better myself Although "prats" is far more polite than what they deserve or what I would feel like using
i said in a earlier post that the cavan vs tyrone game could have been played before or after our game in AGFair play to the Kildare management and players for taking a stand and thinking of there supporters. Croke Park have no other choice but to move the game back to Kildare.
