That semi final hurts more than any other for me. I had got it into my head we were unbeatable threat year afte the way we came back against them in the Ulster final
Fully agree. That one hurts more than 03. McGrane just not being able to pick the ball up

Why would we move the best play maker in the county and one of the most settled positions out of CHF. Grugan will always be 11 if fit.

I would say there are a number of players that should start any game based on this year only.

1. Hughes
4. Morgan
5. Sheilds
6. Donaghy
7. Forker
9. Grimley
11. Grugan
13. Clarke
15. Campbell

I was also impressed with Mini and Hall. I think Sheridan is getting unfair criticism. I was at all 5 games so far and he has done very little wrong, he certainly does not lack work-rate and heart but has maybe been overshadowed by Grimley's excellent displays. Rian O'Neill has progressed quickly with his best showing against Tyrone. No doubt he has huge potential and more so than any player we have seen in a long time but he is very young and has a lot to learn.

I have never been happier heading into the league which is a nice place to be.

Options, options, options..............

I agree that those 9 players named will definitely start v Kildare. Rain is also very to start and I would add in McCaughley (Very impressive on Saturday), McKay, Sheridan, Jarley Og and maybe McElroy or McCabe

When was that?
Ah yes-I think we were two points up and had them on the ropes. Tyrone were pressing and had committed quite a few players high up the field. McGrane intercepted a pass and the ball fell at his feet. Loads of space in front of him to play a long ball out of defence-Tyrone would have been badly caught out-a certain score to come from this. But he stumbled and didn't get to pick the ball up-it went out over the sideline.
As much as we remember individual events from that game, I feel we lost it during the first 15 minutes or so of the second half. We owned the ball, Tyrone could not get a sniff of it-but we wasted several good chances-Stevie, Aaron Kernan and McGrane. That was when we should have nailed that game. We should have been four or five up going into that final five minutes

I would also love to see Rian O'Neill taking the frees. No disrespect to Grimley who had a great game last night but not sure on his consistency.
Without doubt. If O'Neill is having a quiet game his dead ball lifts his confidence. I don't believe in playing him on the square. He has too much to offer out the field and for Cross in the latter games in the championship and in Ulster was at it best when he drifted out from the FF line. His ball in for the penalty was worth the entry fee alone. He should be on 45s. Grimley is 50/50. His long distance frees against Monaghan surely made the call to put O'Neill on 45s an easy one. At times it looks like O'Neill and Clarke have been instructed not to shoot. One of those two certainly should have been taking the penalty. Grugan should not have taken the penalty and should be taken off pens from here on in.

Campbell probably cost us 0-05 the other night giving ball away. The league is massive for him going into the Down game. Hopefully he won't have a day like he had two years ago.

Don’t recall that bit.

Think I need another appointment with my therapist after all this.

Got to say I completely agree with this. Just when you thought you couldn’t dislike someone more
Tyronies always seem to have cornered the market for dodgy haircuts. Think Peter Marks is one of their sponsors
Don't see Cathal McCarron (another model citizen from across the Blackwater) involved this year?

Mmmmmm Killean you say.......and when did you leave Cross?

It would have been some shot by Clarke, even by his standards, considering he was on the bench.

I don't think anyone minds constructive criticism but it's always useful to have the facts right first.

Sorry, I've just read your post again - What a complete load of dog's sh*te.

Yes indeed Jamie was off the pitch at that stage. Also I was referring to Grimley's long range dead ball against Donegal and not Monaghan :D
