Have to disagree. Think tomorrow is a great chance for Armagh to go and win a final. Get over the line and win a trophy. Something we haven't done in a long time. The league finals should be done away with. The attendances sadly back that up. The only reasons for keeping them as I can see, is to give the children a day out.
No one really cares who wins division 2 to 3 cups. There should be a cup for the winner of division 1 but no final. These finals are a distraction from championship.
Having said all that Ard mhachas' intention should go out tomorrow and hammer Donegal. Have the game wrapped up by half time and give game time to the subs in the 2nd half.
The division 1 final should be a good contest but only if both teams go for it and because it's a national title I think they will.
Taking the orange glasses off still feel the league finals should stay. It gives the lesser teams like Leitrim and opportunity of a day out in Croke Park with a chance of winning silverware.
Even today Westmeath wouldn't have too many chances of winning a trophy at Croker.
Attendances may not been great. But in recent years I have seen All Ireland Quarter Finals with a half empty stadium.
A lot depends on the teams involved
